I designed the spa master bath to provide a calming oasis by using a blend of marble tile, concrete counter tops, chrome, crystal and a refurbished antique claw foot tub.

Elegant black and silver metallic newly-scaled damask wallpaper updates and creates the backdrop for drama in the Entry. The front doors were painted black, new marble floor tile installed and a contemporary version of a traditional style silver-leafed chandelier completed the stage for the mirrored, black and silver furnishings. We wanted to create a tailored design which would hold it's beauty over years to come. Open flow from family room to the outdoor seating area for great entertaining. The juxtaposition of fine art and vintage riding leather chair with modern sectional sofa, coffee table, side table and an oversized antiqued mirror. We used perennial fabric on the sofa for easy cleaning in warm gray tone.

The dark wood cabinets were painted using Annie Sloan chalk paint in pure white. No sanding or priming needed! The edges were lightly distressed and the cabinets were finished with Annie Sloan Clear wax. The clear wax creates a durable, washable finish. Antique mirror tiles were installed to surround the white mirror frame. Light fixture removed and antique mirror tiles were cut around the junction box.

A silver vessel sink and a colorful floral countertop accent brighten the room. A vanity fitted from a piece of fine furniture and a custom backlit mirror function beautifully in the space.
