We reset salvaged lilac stone which was original to this home. We mixed our mortar for this stone to give it a weathered look. A new side porch was constructed with a lilac stone wall which is finished with a 2" bluestone cap. New driveway was cut into this area the driveway was finished with a Unilock Pavingstones. We used vintage Belgian blocks for driveway curb. We used very large arborvitae and junipers to anchor the landscape. We also used boxwoods and a variety of hydrangea bushes.

Tumbled clay pavers were used for the patio and mortared limestone was used to construct this hot tub within an urban back yard. The arborvitae were used to create year round privacy.

Corner of back yard we used a stone bench to create a meditation corner. The area is surrounded with white hydrangeas and purple poppies. There is a large cryptomeria tree which was transplanted from the area where the bench now sits. We fenced in the yard using aluminum estate fencing. Which is screened with a arborvitae hedge along the side to block the driveway. We used cypress to screen at the rear

Exterior private patio, off of the master bathroom. Featuring bi folding aluminium black full panel door to a stamped concrete dark powder release concrete patio. The patio is complete with arborvitaes and a fake ivy wall.

Closeup of side of house. We set salvaged lilac stone to lowere half of the house, Lilac stone is finished with a 2" bluestone cap. 10' tall arborvitae anchor the side landscape. A variety of hydrangea bushes are planted amongst boxwoods and euynomus shrubs.

Customer had patio lined with Arborvitaes for privacy since the home was elevated in comparison to rest of subdivision. Inside the house the clients spent a great deal of time in kitchen and family room which both have views seen in this picture from the inside out, and arborvitaes are a evergreen and would maintain that look year round I recommended illuminating them year round so they could appreciate whether they were using the patio or not. I also used Cool White LED Lamps to give trees a slight tint to appear larger than life at night.

Even in December, canna lilies, black-eyed Susans, white verbena, and Mexican petunias are blooming. The 'Emerald Green' arborvitae help to create a resort feel.

Have year-round privacy with a living fence of evergreens like these Arborvitaes. Soften the tall vertical lines with foreground plants, using the evergreens as a backdrop and surrounding the space with greenery and color.
