Regency Custom HomesThis boldly contemporary home is perched on the side of Piestewa Peak near downtown Phoenix. While the city light and sunset views are simply astounding, the home itself elicits many surprises of its own. Barely visible from the street, guests are greeted by a multi-tiered front courtyard of lavish landscaping. The entire upper level is a large, open floor plan, perfect for entertaining and admiring the amazing vistas of the city. The upper patio is surrounded by frosted glass, providing safety and a dramatic design statement at the same time. High wire lighting, stainless appliances, natural cabinets, and sleek stainless cabinet pulls also add to the modern theme prevalent throughout the home. This level has direct access to the pool, spa, putting green, and play areas of the home.

Highestate DevelopementsMiles of sand and beach and water views in this custom waterfront concrete and steel construction. One of the three living green roofs is at the rear of the home perched overtop the sites of the entire yard to take advantage of the astounding unobstructed mountain range and water views. Living green roof is 40 ft x 30 ft and houses concrete pavers and Brazilian hardwood decking outlined with decorative rocks around the living grasses. Sunny deck area is home to succulent garden and planters. LED landscape and feature lighting provides a warm glow in the evenings. Full speaker and home theatre outside for viewing the homes projection screen. Fall asleep and wake up to the waves lap the shores and the crickets chirping. Truly an entertainers paradise. Chr DAUER ArchitectsA post-war, Glen Park house was dark and tiny but had good bones and imaginable city views. It was one of those “little boxes on the hillside”. Our design transformed and expanded it into a bright, open, and comfortable four bedroom townhouse with panoramic city views.
A huge new sliding skylight/roof hatch above an open staircase illuminates and seamlessly connects the central living and circulation spaces.
All bedrooms plus a family room/guest suite are oriented towards the rear and front of house, ensuring direct connection to the out of doors, and privacy from family gathering spaces.
The home is modern but has touches of warm traditional styling, anticipating a family with kids, a couple who enjoy entertaining, and or folks who like hunkering down with a good book and a morning cup of coffee.
