The moment I walked into my clients home I instantly thought accent wall! The long hallway- foyer was in desperate need of attention. My recommendation of adding molding from floor to the builders crown molding adds such a huge impact for this home. I love the transformation of this foyer into the Dining room. Walking down this stunning hall into the new modern farmhouse dining room is perfect. The new dark teal walls adds a beautiful back drop for the stunning botanical artwork. New rattan dining chairs to the homeowners dining table draws your eye to the space. I am sure my clients will love their new spaces for years to come.

Our aim was to create a space that's effortlessly chic with a touch of 'wow.' The stone casting around the fireplace takes center stage, instantly drawing your attention. Flanking the fireplace, you'll find our unique custom chevron slab cabinets boasting elegant white oak tops, painted in the rich Benjamin Moore shade, Black Beauty.
To enhance the overall allure, a striking flush light fixture from Visual Comfort ties in the sleek black accents that are gracefully peppered throughout the room. This living room is where cozy and chic meet, inviting you to unwind while basking in its understated yet captivating charm.

Real entertaining occurs in a formal dining room. Having a well-appointed, sophisticated and mature dining room make guests feel catered to. My clients wanted a Timeless and Romantic environment for large parties as well as a candlelight dinner for two.
We started with the light and airy feeling of the rug. Although traditional, it grounds the room. As described on ETHAN ALLEN’s website, the Barrymore Dining Table is stunning. Precise lines, an exotic wood finish, and graceful saber legs come together elegantly. This chic transitional design was absolutely what this room needed for a good foundation. The antiqued mirror glass and circular-cut mullions of the Brandt Buffet gave the room instant ambiance.
Lastly, by mixing the chairs we allowed the room to remain fresh and whimsical. The Inspired Chinese Chippendale designs of the Jacqueline side chairs maintain transitional flair while the luxurious details of the Verlaine host/hostess chairs grab your attention when walking in the room. Glass, crystal and nickel then allow the room to sparkle!

In this remodel, the kitchen underwent a remarkable transformation, evolving from a cramped,
uninspiring space into an elevated culinary haven. Through strategic design choices and
meticulous attention to detail, the once small and cold kitchen blossomed into a spacious focal
point and inviting gathering spot. Floor-to-ceiling cabinetry, adorned with rich maple-stained
wood and accented by gleaming gold hardware, instantly elevated the aesthetic and functionality
of the space. The addition of brand-new appliances further enhanced the kitchen's efficiency and
modern appeal. Removing the wrap-around barstool counter proved to be a pivotal decision, as it
opened up the area, fostering a seamless flow and sense of spaciousness. Adjacent to the kitchen,
a dining room emerged, offering a convenient and inviting space for family meals and
entertaining. To preserve the kitchen's warmth and individuality, vibrant green abstract tiles were
meticulously chosen to line the backsplash, infusing the space with personality and charm. Each
element of the renovation was thoughtfully curated to ensure a harmonious blend of style,
functionality, and comfort, resulting in a kitchen that not only meets but exceeds the needs and
expectations of its inhabitants.

The goal was to create a kitchen that looked stunning and was highly functional, to fit their family's needs.
One of my favorite features from this project is undoubtedly the Taj Mahal quartzite. I love to see this beautiful natural stone used for countertops, but the homeowners were bold enough to use it for a full-height backsplash as well. A stunning choice! This creates a seamless, waterfall-like effect that is both luxurious and eye-catching.
One of the challenges we faced was the homeowner's request for no visible outlets on the backsplash. To achieve this clean, uninterrupted look, we devised a creative solution: we strategically placed the outlets directly underneath the upper cabinets. This placement allows for easy accessibility while allowing the quartzite's natural beauty to shine without distraction.
While the quartzite commands instant attention, the other design elements were chosen to add warmth and balance the space. We installed Bedford rift-cut white oak cabinetry in a warm wheat stain. The subtle grain of the rift-cut oak adds beautiful texture and a touch of organic warmth. To complement the cabinets, we chose stunning Maison Chateau Crepe engineered hardwood floors that tie the entire space together.
For the finishing touches, the homeowners selected Honey Bronze hardware for the cabinets. The warm, metallic tone of the hardware provides a subtle contrast against the natural wood and stone, completing the cohesive design.
It was a true privilege to work with these homeowners to bring their vision to life. Their trust and collaborative spirit made this project an absolute joy. The finished kitchen shows the power of thoughtful design and quality craftsmanship.
We're so proud of this transformation and are grateful to the homeowners for allowing us to share their beautiful new space with you all.

This beautifully remodeled bathroom in Lake Forest features a stunning floating dual-sink vanity that instantly draws attention. The vanity’s soft, weathered wood finish adds a rustic yet refined touch, perfectly complementing the sleek quartz countertop and modern chrome fixtures. Designed with both style and function in mind, the vanity provides ample storage space through clean-lined drawers and cabinets, making it a practical centerpiece for any shared bathroom.
Behind the vanity, a classic white shiplap accent wall brings depth and character to the space while evoking a serene, spa-like atmosphere. Framed by two large mirrors and flanked with pendant globe lighting, the design enhances natural and artificial light, creating a warm and inviting feel. The thoughtful addition of wall-mounted makeup mirrors and towel rings adds both charm and convenience, making the daily routine smoother and more enjoyable.
Neutral color tones, soft towel textures, and natural materials create a calming, balanced look throughout the space. Subtle details, like marble accessories and carefully chosen decor, elevate the room’s overall elegance without overwhelming its clean aesthetic.
This Lake Forest bathroom remodel is a perfect blend of modern craftsmanship and timeless appeal, offering homeowners a stylish yet cozy space to start and end their day. Whether used as a personal retreat or a shared family space, this bathroom showcases the impact of intentional design and quality renovation work.

This incredible white tile & marble kitchen is a great example of updating a kitchen without the need of having to replace the cabinetry.
The existing cabinets were in great condition; affording us the ability to make modifications, paint and install new hardware. Rope was removed from the crown of all the cabinets instantly providing an updated look. The desk area was modified by taking out a knee drawer to provide space for a refrigerator and the right cabinet was removed and replaced with a new cabinet that is higher and has a drawer and door. The upper cabinet exposed shelf area was also slightly modified. Overall the changes were few but made a significant impact in the final look of the cabinetry.
The raised bar top was cut down to the same level as the sink creating a larger work area that showcases the beautiful Bianco Carrara Marble that is installed throughout the kitchen. 3x12 cotton white subway tile with a simple wavy design provides texture while still allowing the marble to remain the focal point of the design. The same tile in 3x6 size were laid in a herringbone pattern to draw your attention toward the stove and to break up the streamline layout of the tile.
We love this kitchen and know that you'll be inspired to imagine how you can get an updated kitchen without the cost of having to replace all the cabinetry in your space.

Witch Hazel: A Shrub That Teaches Patience in the Garden
Witch hazel is a reminder that some of the most rewarding garden plants operate on a different timetable. Unlike shrubs that demand attention with bold flowers or fast growth, witch hazel reveals its value slowly and intentionally. Its most striking feature often appears when gardeners least expect it, with delicate, ribbon-like blooms emerging in late winter while much of the landscape still rests.
This timing alone sets witch hazel apart. Winter-blooming shrubs change the way gardeners experience their landscapes, encouraging observation during a season that is often overlooked. Planted near windows, paths, or entryways, witch hazel offers moments of surprise and quiet beauty when color is scarce. Its subtle fragrance and fine-textured flowers add depth without overwhelming the surrounding environment.
Beyond bloom, witch hazel contributes structure and balance to the garden year-round. Its branching form develops naturally into an open, graceful shape that rarely requires pruning. During the growing season, its foliage blends effortlessly with perennials, groundcovers, and woodland plants, creating cohesion rather than competition. In autumn, the leaves shift to soft golden tones, easing the transition into dormancy.
Witch hazel also supports a slower, more sustainable approach to gardening. Once established, it asks very little in return, adapting well to its surroundings and thriving without constant inputs. Its fallen leaves enrich the soil, reinforcing natural cycles that benefit neighboring plants.
In a garden culture often driven by instant results, witch hazel stands as a counterpoint. It rewards patience, invites reflection, and becomes more meaningful with time. For gardeners willing to embrace its rhythm, witch hazel offers not just seasonal interest, but a deeper connection to the quiet moments that make gardening truly fulfilling.

Our client in Inverallochy near Fraserburgh approached us with a vision for their project. The goal was to not just update their kitchen but also reconfigure the space by taking down partitions for a more fluid layout.
For the Inverallochy kitchen, we selected the Nolte Metal range. The main door's Grey Steel colour was paired with an accent in Kansas Oak, offering a harmonious blend of modern and traditional tones. The Silver MatrixArt handleless trims, coupled with integrated lighting, further elevated the design's sleek aesthetic.
Our choice of worktops included 20mm Silestone Eternal Serena Suede for the island and Nolte 25mm Kansas Oak for the perimeter. In terms of appliances, we integrated a comprehensive suite of Siemens products: from the single oven and combination microwave to the warming drawer, induction hob, and a unique ceiling extraction unit. The addition of a full-height fridge and a 600mm wine cooler ensured every culinary need was met.
Attention to detail was key. We incorporated a Blanco Zia 1 ½ sink in Alumetallic and a Quooker Fusion Square Stainless Steel instant boiling water tap for added functionality. A noteworthy design feature was the extractor built into a ceiling drop box, accentuated by a stepped ledge with dedicated lighting. Pergo flooring provided the finishing touch, ensuring durability and style.

Crafted in the outdoor ‘fire pit’ style but with many unique differences, the all-weather MIX 600 (little “sister” of the MIX 800) will be the centre of attention at every gathering. The circular design evokes the much-loved tradition of bringing people together around an open fire on a starry night. Equally at home in a true alfresco setting or contemporary outdoor room, the simple, elegant shape and flickering flame will instantly vamp up any architectural environment.

The open concept of this beautiful space creates a pleasant and relaxing environment.
Several key elements are emphasized by walnut wood, such as the island cabinets, the veneers, and the amazing wine cellar, which instantly attracts attention. Speaking of eye-catchers, you’ve undoubtedly noticed the unique black matte polymer materials that cover some of the kitchen cabinets. Our designers have gone a step further and chose to add TIP-ON touch latch technology to cabinet doors and drawers in order to remove any handles and to make opening and closing easy.
