This view shows the play of the different wood tones throughout the space. The different woods keep the eye moving and draw you into the inviting space. We love the classic Cherner counter stools. The nostalgic pendants create some fun and add sculptural interest. All track lighting was replaced and expanded by cutting through beams to create good task lighting for all kitchen surfaces.

This modern kitchen maintains it's industrial feel by having the exposed brick as its backdrop. The warm honey tones of the white oak, mixed with the stainless steel appliances and white quartz creates a perfect space to showcase the original charm of this space. The accessory rails allow for storage, without covering up the amazing brick wall.

A simply designed Foyer provides a welcome to the home and sets the design tone for what to expect upon entry. Across from 2 large closets, we were able to create an open storage area that is functional but attractive. Kids can easily hang coats, hats, and backpacks on hooks below the floating counter while the open shelves can accommodate baskets with less attractive items that tend to collect at the front door

Western Redbud (Cercis occidentalis) is an ideal tree for small spaces. It has a somewhat architectural form that fills with these delightful - and edible and delicious! - pink flowers in winter. With branches bare, it allows heat to enter adjacent structures. In spring and summer, its abundant heart-shaped leaves provide shade and seasonal color. Photo: Lesly Hall Photography
