The diverse range of color hues in conjunction with the authenticity of each stone profile solidified George and Elizabeth Ruzzier's-- the driving force behind Foxwood Homes--decision to utilize Eldorado's stone in the design of their project. By applying Autumn Leaf Rough Cut on the home's exterior and Sierra Mountain Ledge on the fireplace, they created an aesthetically stunning residence with the implementation of texture, color, and natural elements, all of which is amplified by the use of stone. This award-winning single family home on Chicago’s north shore is an 8500 square foot space, designed to accommodate the social lifestyle of its family of five. Light bathed window seats and naturally sunlit circulation paths optimize views to enjoy the wooded five-acre site. Custom kitchen furniture was built with trees cleared from the location – and with an English country inspired style – the space is reinterpreted in a fresh contemporary way. Mid-sized transitional dark wood floor living room photo in Phoenix with beige walls

I was hired by the parents of a soon-to-be teenage girl turning 13 years-old. They wanted to remodel her bedroom from a young girls room to a teenage room. This project was a joy and a dream to work on! I got the opportunity to channel my inner child. I wanted to design a space that she would love to sleep in, entertain, hangout, do homework, and lounge in. The first step was to interview her so that she would feel like she was a part of the process and the decision making. I asked her what was her favorite color, what was her favorite print, her favorite hobbies, if there was anything in her room she wanted to keep, and her style. The second step was to go shopping with her and once that process started she was thrilled. One of the challenges for me was making sure I was able to give her everything she wanted. The other challenge was incorporating her favorite pattern-- zebra print. I decided to bring it into the room in small accent pieces where it was previously the dominant pattern throughout her room. The color palette went from light pink to her favorite color teal with pops of fuchsia. I wanted to make the ceiling a part of the design so I painted it a deep teal and added a beautiful teal glass and crystal chandelier to highlight it. This sloped hillside has been transformed into a beautiful tapestry of colors and textures present in every season. I specified drought tolerant plants and shrubs that are low-water, low maintenance and deer resistant. Located in Novato, CA - Marin County. Some photos were taken just after installation and others 2 couple of years later.

The Quarry Mill's Autumn Ridge real thin stone veneer adds character to the exterior of this residential home. Autumn Ridge natural thin stone veneer is known for its deep rich range of earth tones. The real stone incorporates greys, golds, gunmetals, and dark earthy browns. The range of colors allows flexibility and versatility when incorporating other types of siding. Autumn ridge brings a rustic feel in its natural state but can be more formal with field trimming. Field trimming is the sawing and cutting by the mason on-site to square up the pieces and make them more uniform. The extent to which the mason field trims depends on the desired finished look.
