The guest bedroom has a queen size four-poster bed. The room features a spectacular view, enhanced by fabric balloon valances with side hangs. The custom bedding has rich colors with decorative throw pillows. The sliding glass doors provide access to the private balcony overlooking San Diego Bay.

The Periwinkle Blue walls are the perfect backdrop for the vintage chintz fabric used to make the bedskirt and upholstered headboard. Red silk balloon shades and drapery are highlighted with silk tassel fringe and an ivory petticoat of embroidered sheer fabric.

I was able to secure fabric that we used in the clients old home to make new drapery panels for the windows and doors. We chose a contrast band design for the panels so we could use both fabrics. The drapery panels are blackout lined. The decorative traverse rods are mounted below the crown to completely darken the room when needed. The 3 rods cover 30' of space with pinch pleated drapery.

Inspiration for a small contemporary nursery remodel in New York

Motorized window roller shades and motorized mesh sheers and silk drapes with contrast banding we created for PH in Oceana beach gate community in Brooklyn. We used Somfy motors.

This dreamy nursery inspired by the Clients' local sunsets. We custom built an air ballon to hang above the crib. A hand painted mural surrounds the room. Hanging cloud lights also add to the ethereal feel of this luxury room.

This warm Great Room in a home in Vienna, VA, was transformed by new custom window treatments, including automated Hunter Douglas Solera shades for light control. This photo shows the Solera shades fully lowered. Over the shades are custom draperies on decorative poles, over tailored balloon valances, which coordinated with the balloon valance over the fireplace window. The Duralee fabric complemented the art and existing furnishings, while wide tape trim from Robert Allen along the leading edges of the draperies and cascades on the center window emphasized the grand height of the room. Goblet pleats with custom banding layered above them bring out the teal blue-green accent color in the room.
