the bamboo is a clumping variety called Bambusa eutuldoides viridi-vittata , Asian lemon bamboo. This variety is a clumper and you do not need to contain it, however, do allow an 8'by 10' area for its ultimate growth. Bamboo does require constant maintenance and you will need to do some research for the specific variety you choose. The cabana was placed at the end of the pool to provide opportunities for a quiet, romantic getaway. The cabana is enclosed by block wall with an ipe wood veneer. Horizontal shudders are also of ipe. They allow for privacy with air movement (notice the angle of the shudder will not allow visibility into the cabana). The double fabric cabana is grey on the exterior with a white interior. A simple ceiling fan and light illuminates the entire space. The fireplace is precast concrete. It is natural gas with an internal ventilation system. The shower, also shown, is located just to the right of the cabana.

This TriBeCa roof deck includes brown bamboo fencing, a custom-built cedar bench with storage under the seats, an ipe deck, and artificial turf. The containers are a mix of grey fiberglass and ceramics, and the plantings include maiden grass, a smoketree, a variegated willow, and pink coneflowers. This TriBeCa roof deck features a custom bench with built-in storage, bamboo fencing, artificial turf, and contemporary planters in grey, cream, and aqua. A lush mix of ornamental grasses, hydrangeas, perennial flowers, and evergreens brings a soft touch to the hardscaping.
