We created this office in an exclusive home in the Lansdowne community located near Leesburg Virginia. This room is right off of the main entrance. Everything was changed starting with the hard wood floor color. We added custom ceiling quarter sawn oak beams and the ceiling chandelier after having the room painted a soft grey. Later the new desk and chair anchor the room which can later convert to a temporary guest suite because the tufted back sleeper sofa. This Reston Virginia Condo remodel required us to bring every room up to date. We provided the new wood plank laminate flooring with a cork underlayment for maximum comfort and sound absorption. The client requested that we turn the second bedroom into an office space. We lined the wall with semi-custom cabinetry, a new ceiling fan and a built out custom closet to store books and office supplies. The adjacent bathroom shower walls and floors are lined with polished marble floor tile and new chrome plumbing fixtures. The new grey vanity and quartz counters compliment the new grey zigzag accent marble tile. The master bedroom received a full overhaul as well including a custom velvet headboard lined with espresso wood, new nightstands and dresser, 2 new pendant lamps in front of the new espresso wall mirrors. We were sure to incorporate new LED lighting throughout the condo including smart home enabled Wi-Fi controlled lighting.

Laundry room - transitional laundry room idea in Philadelphia

This master bedroom was designed to encompass an owner’s suite with grey and white tones. The painted maple custom cabinetry flanks the bed to store away all of life’s essentials without seeing them. We used a faux alligator skinned fabric to wrap the custom headboard horizontal panels. LED lighting was used throughout the space to make for a cool energy efficient room. This space is a bright comfortable bedroom fit for the king and queen of this residence.

We added grey grasscloth wallpaper as well as Sherwin Williams ceiling and wall paint in the adjacent spaces. This new installation highlights the benefits of paving with grass, as well as the comparative ease of installation. Concrete and asphalt surfaces occupy twice the area of buildings and are the most detrimental to clean water. This lower level space started off as a storage space for inherited household furniture and miscellaneous infrequently used items. Pierre Jean-Baptiste Interiors reimagined the space as it now exists using some of our clients few requirements including a stage for the family comedians at the rear of the lower level, a movie screening area, a serving table for frequent soiree’s, and cozy resilient furnishings. We infused style into this lower level changing the paint colors, adding new carpet to absorb sound and provide style. We also were sure to include color in the space strategically. This screening room was designed around a 10’ x 14’ space. We included a 74” TV, walls lined with acoustical panels and a solid core entry door. The Middle Atlantic AV racks are nestled in the rear of the theater to avoid any visual disturbances during the intense movie scenes.

Greige tones are the foundation of the color scheme of the space. In this space we created a feature wall with molding and wallpaper in key locations. A few accent furniture pieces and purple accents add a splash of color the space. New furnishings and accessories helped polished off the newly created space.

Pierreji.com In this master bathroom we used teal glass accent tile with hints of blue and green to add a bit of color to the space. The semi-custom vanity has drawers down the center and doors to the right and left. A centered upper storage cabinet houses toiletries and towels. A frameless glass shower door reveals the marble and glass accent tile on the floor. We added new square LED lighting in the ceiling. The interior doors were painted dark brown to match the espresso colored cabinetry.
