What was once an underused lawn is now a backyard built for making memories. This transformation created a custom outdoor living space complete with a spacious paver patio, cozy dining and lounge areas, a modern stepping stone walkway, and fresh landscape plantings. The finished design brings together comfort, style, and functionality, creating the perfect low-maintenance retreat for relaxing, entertaining, and enjoying the outdoors year round.

This beautiful home is used regularly by our Calgary clients during the weekends in the resort town of Fernie, B.C. While the floor plan offered ample space to entertain and relax, the finishes needed updating desperately. The original kitchen felt too small for the space which features stunning vaults and timber frame beams. With a complete overhaul, the newly redesigned space now gives justice to the impressive architecture. On the second floor, the main office space takes advantage of beautiful west light. In the spring, the cherry tree outside bursts into bloom, creating a soft, ethereal view. Faceted floating shelves and a built-in desk provide storage and negotiate the transition space between the old house and the new addition.

We used cool tones of blue and gray for this client's serene basement renovation project paired with subdued coastal accents. One of our main goals for this project was to transform our client's office space complete with a soft blue and gray accent wall, flat roman window treatment, and walnut floating shelves; as well as subtle gold accents in both the artwork and hardware on this gorgeous custom desk.
