Molly Maguire Landscape Architecture. The existing plantings were edited to allow for year round color and interest. Woodland natives were added at the edges of the property extending the garden into the 'borrowed' forested City Park boundary beyond.

Nautical charts of local waters hand-painted by artist Joel Blanco cover one wall of this office. The maritime theme is carried further by the use of snap-ties on the roller shades, mahogany stools with nickel foot rails, and a brass steam gauge.

This Willow Glen Eichler had undergone an 80s renovation that sadly didn't take the midcentury modern architecture into consideration. We converted both bathrooms back to a midcentury modern style with an infusion of Japandi elements. We borrowed space from the master bedroom to make the master ensuite a luxurious curbless wet room with soaking tub and Japanese tiles.

The addition creates an L-Shaped floor plan and boasts a spacious master suite. The goal was to incorporate as much natural light as possible, and create bedroom access to the backyard. The use of white and the light weight mid-century furniture create a light and airy space that seamlessly blends with the outdoors.
