In this sunroom nook, cafe height, Hunter Douglas NewStyle shutters were installed inside each double window opening. There is no tilt bar on these contemporary appearing shutters, To open and close the louvers, simply tilt one louver, and all the louvers on the panel will open or close! This home enjoys an open floor plan. The use of the same cotton-blend print in a deconstructed chevron pattern, with teals, turquoise and white, in both the family room and kitchen gives a harmonious feel to the space. The triple-relaxed Roman shade over the sink and the grommeted curtains framing the entertainment center let in plenty of natural light. This kick-pleated valance is a classic and works with any decor. Embellishments can be added to reflect your personality, or it can complement a favorite furnishing and pick up the accent color in the room, as it does in this home. The valance on the bay window accents the seating area and, with the use of the same fabric, harmonizes with the kick-pleat valance over the dining room window.

This beach house was renovated with a terrific porch space with storage and custom window seat cushions. Valances were created out of the same Sunbrella fabric with a coordinating plaid for a beachy touch. White shutters cover half the window and valances were designed to not block the view of the bay.

DR french doors open out to patio bar and grille area. Custom printed silk stripe fabric made into working drapes and box pleated valances with self covered buttons. Working sheers behind panels close over curved space when weather is bad or when the home is unused in the winter.

Box pleated valances are scaled down to fit the proportions of the windows in the kitchen. The embroidered fabric is banded with the same trim seen on the family room treatments in the adjacent room. The slip covers on the chairs also have this trim detail.

This is the front door of the beach house. White wood blinds were chosen to compliment the white shutters. A valance was created out of the same fabrics as the other valances but the style was changed to accomodate the door. At the bottom of the door we installed the wood blind valance upside down to hide the bottom rail of the wood blind. Customer's request!!
