This kitchen was transformed to a beautiful French country style kitchen. We've added finishing touches by installing custom window coverings in the kitchen and two corresponding rooms: butler's pantry and laundry room. The homeowner selected a fun, rooster motif fabric with distinctive red trim to complement the colors of the kitchen. Beautiful valances dressed up the windows giving softness to the entire room. We had the privilege of furnishing window treatments throughout an entire, custom built home in Crownsville, MD. For this family room, we paired fabric roman shades with a banded box pleat valance and installed the valance just above the transom.

Masculine and comfortable, this media bonus room was created for family movie time and adult party time. Enveloped in a rich brown leather sectional, the room offers ample, comfortable seating with a sturdy coffee table large enough for all those drinks, popcorn, remote controls and a place to prop your feet. The Moore Council mirrored-door bar cabinet stores the adult drinks and provides a place to mix a delicious cocktail. Artwork includes the client's travel map and personal photos. This post-war, plain bungalow was transformed into a charming cottage with this new exterior detail, which includes a new roof, red shutters, energy-efficient windows, and a beautiful new front porch that matched the roof line. This open box-pleated valance works beautifully on wide windows with the contrast plaid under-pleat and banding breaking up the monotony of an entire wall of window treatments. The draperies and the soft-fold roman shapes open and close for privacy, light control to avoid television glare, and because these windows face the river, the full drapery and shades close for heat preservation in the cooler winters.
