This was a custom fabric with embroidery. Much detail was planned in the positioning of the embroidery on this box pleat valance. The trim was a beautiful full tassel trim.

This client had recently moved into this home, and they wanted to add some personal touches and changes to make it feel more like their home. I came up with a plan for their backsplash that was simple, but had such a dramatic impact on the space. Also, I designed a valance for the kitchen window to add some pattern and color to the space that reflected the client's style.

The homeowner wished to add some color and style to her very neural and plain family room. We've addressed several components of the room: window treatments, furniture and rug placement and addition of pattern and color. The large bay type window consisted of 6 standard size windows separated by the strips of wall. We've added single width drapery panels in the pattern rich fabric and hung them on medallion type of hardware installed way above the window frame for for extra hight. Two armchairs were placed in front of the bay area to create a perfect place for reading and conversation. Two color rich pillows were added to emphasize the area. DRAPES & DECOR

Bedroom - eclectic bedroom idea in Boston

This window has not been framed with wood trim but with a box-pleated valance and stationary side panels the trim isn't missed. Making the valance and side panels about 15" wider than the window creates the impression of a really large window.
