In the kitchen, floor-to-ceiling windows and glass doors allow for an abundance of natural light, which is reflected through the shiny, polished surfaces of the marble and metal island as well as the lacquered cabinetry. The large kitchen island features a bookmatched statuario marble that is not only a piece of art with its magnificent veining, but also a practical workspace and dining area for the whole family. The wooden base with metallic accents add for the perfect contrast to the mainly white kitchen and give you a brief preview into the look and feel of the entire home.

Eagerly awaiting retirement, a New England-based client acquired a property in a former office building in central Lisbon. Artfully refurbished by Frederico Valsassina Arquitectos, the façade is composed of geometric strata of medium-gray panels alternating with weathered vertical staves. Our studio’s brief was to furnish and equip the interior of the vacation home to converse with the architecture, so family and friends visiting Lisbon would stay in an elegant, private setting, filled with locally-made and designer items.
Upon entering, a small shelf and mirror function as a welcome valet. The corridor opens to a cozy living room with lambent afternoon light let in by large sliding doors. Just outside, the balcony sports a café table and chairs set for an aperitivo. An enveloping sofa, produced in Portugal, and an organic recliner, create an intimate lounge area facing a classic, modular media cabinet. An artisan-made wool ottoman adds a beat of color; the lights speak in plump opaline glass and thin black metal rods. The glass top of the dining table fades into the space, leaving its sculptural, marine blue base; in a play of textures, the upholstery of the dining chairs coordinates elegantly with the smoked glass. Tile, oak, and stainless steel come together in a custom kitchen island, with additional counter space and convenient storage.
As the interior is replete with oiled oak in the floors, baseboards, doors, and cabinetry, matching wood furniture warms the bedrooms. The vertical spindles of the beds recall the pattern of the exterior façade. Laptop work is accommodated by a small console desk with a chair clothed in burgundy. Acorn-shaped pendants, inviting bed linens and rugs, and undulating curtains, all in the warm white of the walls, form a nest for relaxation.

A neutral colour palette was the main aspect of the brief setting the tone for a sophisticated and elegant home.
For the floor we chose Quickstep Majestic - Desert Oak Brushed Grey. The neutral tone will be a subtle backdrop to the furnishings tying everything together. The features of the floor like scratch-resistant, important for the dog and waterproof surface for use in kitchen and laundry. Moreover, Quick-Step laminate floors have received the EU Ecolabel, which means that they are made from at least 80% sustainably sourced wood, avoid hazardous substances in their composition, and are produced in power efficient factories. In addition Quick-Step laminate floors have a very long lifetime, an extended product guarantee, are easy to repair and easy to remove.
Curtains and sheers play a significant role in enhancing the overall aesthetics of a room. They add color, pattern, texture, and visual interest to complement the existing décor. The curtains are essential in providing the finishing touch to the overall look and feel of this Dining Room.

Minimal palette, Maximum impact!
The brief was highly specific, an outdoor space suited for relaxing, entertaining friends and most importantly, featuring an outdoor fire place. Materials needed to echo the interior and architectural style of the house. With the planting all plants were to be evergreen, limited to various shades of green with no additional colour. The only permitted flower colour was white - with Rosemary being the sole exception to the rule.

Brickyard is home to clients passionate about contemporary architecture. They envisioned a private refuge that maintains a strong connection to nature while preserving walkable access to city life. The project brief included space to accommodate their extended family and a lounge with skyline views.
Constructed from steel, brick and glass, the home has a refined modern aesthetic that nods to Chicago’s industrial history. Its L-shaped footprint creates an open plan sanctuary that shelters a landscaped yard.
A perforated screen wall defines the front elevation, adding privacy while allowing natural light to filter through. Made from custom tapered bricks, this sculptural element casts dynamic shadows and evokes a sense of movement across the facade as the sun shifts through the day. This design elevates the material, creating a luxurious texture that transforms the building’s exterior.

Situated in Fraserburgh, this modern kitchen project was designed to provide the client with a stylish and functional cooking and living area. They wanted a large peninsula that could accommodate multiple tasks while leaving enough room for a dining table and a comfortable sitting area.
To create a sleek, contemporary aesthetic, we used Nolte Plus cabinetry in an anti-fingerprint black finish. The built-in MatrixArt handle trims in Manganese Bronze, paired with remote-controlled LED lighting, add a touch of elegance and practicality to the design.
We selected 20mm Silestone Ethereal Glow worktops to contrast the dark cabinetry, providing a bright and luxurious surface that complements the overall design.
To enhance functionality, high-performance NEFF appliances were chosen, including a Slide&Hide single oven, a combination microwave, a warming drawer, a 5-zone induction hob with a downdraft extractor, a fridge freezer, and a dishwasher.
The kitchen features a black Blanco Subline under-mounted sink paired with a black Quooker Fusion Square tap for instant boiling water.
Tall units were fitted to the ceiling to provide ample storage and maximise the space, creating a seamless finish. Nolte floating shelves on feature wall panels offer a personalised touch, allowing the client to showcase decorative items and add character to the space.
Quickstep Muse Laminate flooring completes the modern design with its durable yet stylish appeal.
This fully project-managed kitchen transformation delivered on every aspect of the client’s brief, creating a stunning and functional space that perfectly suits their lifestyle.

50/50s House is a love letter to the 1950’s. Our clients, Gina and David have a love for books and found objects and wanted to display their collections with pride. The brief also called for a home that would afford them and their teenagers the ability to occupy different spaces without feeling disconnected. Bold lines and playful geometry work in tandem with the charm of the existing house to create a beautiful healthy home that is as endearing as it is enduring.
