Architect Ryan Duffey designed a new bathroom for this Atlanta loft. The custom concrete trough sink is by J. Aaron Countertops and the wood base was made by Phoenix Millworks. Calhoun Design and Metalworks crafted the mirror. The wood walls are painted with limewash by ROMA

Raised panel custom cabinetry in cherry wood with java finish. Pratt metal four leg washstands with undermount sink topped in 2cm Calacatta Gold marble. Etoile low profile three hole deck mounted faucet with metal cross handles in nickel. Margaux 70x30x27 freestanding oval cast iron bathtub with burnished finish also from Waterworks. Tile behind vanity is 12x12 sheets of statuary marble, split faced and stacked. Floor tile is 18x18 Calcutta Gold set on a diagonal. Wall field tile behind the tub is Waterworks #ARF036 3x6. Base is Architectonics 6x6 style #ARBS3E also from Waterworks.

Inspiration for a contemporary dining room remodel in New York

We commissioned this piece for our client with a Houston based artist we collaborate with frequently, Claire Richards. She does fantastic work, and her scale is typically very large, which isn't always easy to find. Transporting such a size of artwork can be interesting! We hired a U-haul, and transported it from the studio, straight to the client's home. Bathroom - modern bathroom idea in New York

A renovated master bathroom in this mid-century house, created a spa-like atmosphere in this small space. To maintain the clean lines, the mirror and slender shelves were recessed into an new 2x6 wall for additional storage. This enabled the wall hung toilet to be mounted in this 'double' exterior wall without protruding into the space. The homeowners desired an outdoor space that felt more rustic than their refined interior spaces, but still related architecturally to their house. Cement plaster support arbor columns provide enough of visual tie to the existing house exterior. Oversized wood beams and rafter members provide a unique outdoor atmosphere.
