Bubbling water features dance through out this space creating sounds of trickling brooks you could only hear if you were in a far far away place. The marble continues up the shower walls to windows trimmed with coordinating white marble capital moulding allowing natural light to flood into the room. The marble shower floor and niche lend a sophisticated nod to a refined pattern of bubbles. The niche was purposefully placed subtly around the corner to hide the client's shower necessities. Only the finest European fixtures and hardware were used throughout. The soaking tub is the centerpiece of the room with its graceful and delicate curves luring you into the bath. Elegantly detailed water jet marble topped with white marble capital moulding wraps the walls of the entire room evoking a feeling of warmth. The water jet marble is continued on the vanity wall behind the stunning crystal sconces and mirrors that reflect the charming sparkle of the chandelier above. Artisanal handmade glass sinks with a shimmering stripe of silver leafing are surrounded by the impressive porcelain countertops that add even more glamour and stature to this exquisitely appointed master bath.

The design team at Ten Key selected warm, earthy materials throughout the spaces in this Edmond home. A curved, vaulted sunroom framed by eight floor-to-ceiling black Pella windows wraps the room in natural light on three sides, paired with pressed terracotta tile flooring and LP Smart Siding on the new exterior walls. The client-provided Nelson Saucer Bubble Pendant anchors the vaulted ceiling and ties the space to the home's existing mid-century furnishings, while Laticrete Terra Cotta grout and primed MDF base trim complete the room from floor up.

Inspiration for a transitional home design remodel in Edmonton

The primary bedroom for this home project features a dusty pink color palette in the upholstered headboard, rug, sofa cushions, and drapes. This color scheme, reflected in the large abstract painting that hangs beside the bed, works harmoniously with the tones of a recessed architectural feature in the ceiling. A dramatic pendant chandelier made from hand-blown textured glass and brass hangs in this recess. Inspired by organic shapes and textures of the sea, it resembles bubbles floating elegantly in space. The wrap-around upholstered headboard creates a sense of privacy and comfort. To balance this expanse of upholstery, the exposed timber bed frame made from Danish oiled walnut gives the bed a feeling of lightness within the room.
