The primary bedroom for this home project features a dusty pink color palette in the upholstered headboard, rug, sofa cushions, and drapes. This color scheme, reflected in the large abstract painting that hangs beside the bed, works harmoniously with the tones of a recessed architectural feature in the ceiling. A dramatic pendant chandelier made from hand-blown textured glass and brass hangs in this recess. Inspired by organic shapes and textures of the sea, it resembles bubbles floating elegantly in space. The wrap-around upholstered headboard creates a sense of privacy and comfort. To balance this expanse of upholstery, the exposed timber bed frame made from Danish oiled walnut gives the bed a feeling of lightness within the room.

The punchy purple pillow and throw blanket add some vibrant color to the gray couch and neutral walls. The floor lamp provides ambient light in addition to the recessed fixtures above.

Warm tonality invites great conversation. Upscale yet comfortable, this space excites and exudes energy. Separate seating allows for multiple conversations.

Beautifully transformed master bathroom. Complete with marble floors, walls, and black granite vanity top. Kohler whirlpool jacouzi tub, marble walk in shower. Double vanity is accented by a large wall to wall custom famed mirror. Rectangulat undermount sinks add to this updated look.

1970 colonial single-family house in middle of wooded Alexandria suburb has been the home for this couple for over three decades. They have raised three kids and all gone to college, getting married and few moving back again. Go figure!
With growing family, they feel like our running out of room. They have approached us to design and build a two-story addition.
An addition to offer them more living space, a much-needed family room in order to reclaim the breakfast room that they have been using as family room area.
The exterior of this home was half covered in brick the other with stucco and paneling. All which very hard to replicate.
We have designed a large 20’x9’ family room just behind the living room and step down from new breakfast area. Wrapped with big windows, French door leading to future deck area and a side French door leading to a future patio area.
A stoned cover brick chimney fireplace was built in heart of this family room, the walls were all opened up, double pocket French door were connecting living room to new family room allowing them entertain large group of families.
A mini wet bar was built on north wall for serving drinks. Wide plank wood floors have created a seamless connection to open first floor.
Just above this family room, we have created a master suite bathroom.
Busting through load baring walls converting the old bathroom into a walk-in closet with built ins custom cabinetry
Through a double door now you are walking into an immaculate master bathroom equipped with:
• Free standing bubble massaging tub
• A walk-in steam shower, with body spays and rain shower, wrapped in frameless glass enclosure
• Private commode area
• Couple of south and west viewing casement windows.
• Large scale vanities and marble top on the east wall made this bathroom a delightful space.
By the way of bumping five feet over the kitchen and breakfast room, we have created a space for second floor laundry room, storage and service sink for them.
The small hall bathroom was revamped and expanded into new addition, creating space for a long tub (for their six-foot six son) and much-needed large vanity. The entire second floor was redone with added space and larger hallway, new flooring, wainscoting, custom painting, new doors and trim, recess lighting and much much more.
The seamless exterior connection with matching brick and custom painted stucco, new roofing, brick chimney has made this addition blended into the old structure.

A healing garden was the finished product, so much, its a space that you don't ever want to leave....

When our clients came to us, their master bathroom was doing them no favors. An awkwardly oversized corner tub that hadn't seen a bubble bath in years, a shower barely large enough to turn around in, and a color palette best described as "contractor default." The bones were there — a generously sized footprint — but the space had zero personality and even less function.
Our first move was rethinking how the square footage was being used. Out went the hulking corner tub, and in its place: a spa-worthy walk-in shower that finally earns the space it occupies. Classic white subway tile with soft gray grout lines gives it a timeless foundation, while dual showerheads — a traditional wall-mount and a ceiling-mounted rain shower — turn every morning into something worth waking up for. Built-in niches keep everything organized without interrupting the clean aesthetic.
The commode room got a full character transplant. Wainscoting grounds the space with architectural detail, while a custom nautical map wallcovering wraps the room in something deeply personal — a curated cartographic love letter to the waterways and places that matter most to this family. The addition of a traditional pedestal bidet elevates both the function and the feeling of the space.
Back in the main bathroom, the clients' personality finally has a place to live. A bold, saturated blue on the custom double vanity cabinetry makes an unapologetic statement — the kind that makes you smile every time you walk in. Wall-mounted brushed nickel faucets and coordinating hardware keep the look polished and cohesive throughout. A heated towel rack and radiant heated floors are the quiet luxuries that tip this bathroom from "really nice" into "I never want to leave."
New windows flood the space with natural light, making the already generous footprint feel even more expansive and bringing out the best in every finish and material choice.
The result is a bathroom that works as hard as it looks good — and one that finally, unmistakably, feels like them.

The refined kitchen palette works with the home’s rich furnishings to highlight the homeowner’s art collection. Rift cut white oak floors run continuously from the main living space into the kitchen, visually connecting it to the rest of the home.
Inside the elegant kitchen, a Caesarstone-lined work area is recessed into a floor-to-ceiling wall of glossy white cabinetry. The Calacatta marble-style quartz wraps the counter, walls and soffit to create a sculptural element which features a sleek range hood, floating shelves, and pot lights.
The quartz surface carries over to the island. Walnut base cabinets add depth and rich wood tone to the space. Hanging above, a cluster of glass globe pendant lights with bronze hardware adds a playful touch to the sophisticated space. The length of the island was designed to ensure use of the prep sink would not splash onto the Globe and Mail during breakfast!
Adjacent to the island, the pantry houses small appliances and glassware, and also screens the dish washing area from the living room.
The north wall with full-height, sliding glass doors extends the interior living space out onto the backyard terrace for barbequing, entertaining and enjoyment of the quiet, trellis enclosed garden.
