With an established formal garden, stone fireplace, seating and dining terrace, the clients wished to enhance their outdoor program with the addition of a pool, spa, and lounging terrace. A thoughtful master plan and careful attention to detailing allows the additional landscape improvements to blend seamlessly with the existing program. The water elements and landscape lighting design for this property add dimension in both the day and evening. This client needed to update their historic East Coast-style home to match their modern lifestyle without sacrificing its beauty and elegance. Moore Design Group enhanced the original design with a reconfigured layout, horizontal and vertical design elements, and careful attention to detail. We blended original architectural features with the convenience of contemporary appliances, custom cabinetry, finishes, fixtures, and lighting. The kitchen was a client priority; we centered the room around a grand island with an eat-at bar that inspires shared meals and conversations. Walls were eliminated to open up the space. Custom cabinetry and granite slab countertops were installed, and the wood floors were refinished. For a final touch, the owner created architectural ceiling moldings that reflect the adjacent dining and living rooms. We reclaimed obsolete space to create a primary ensuite. A steam shower, claw-foot tub, and traditional double basin vanity transformed the bathroom into a bespoke sanctuary. Our discovery of a fabulous gray, blue and beige marble for wainscoting and countertops launched the lovely, soft palette. In collaboration with Habitude Interiors, this Fall 2023 renovation transformed the heart of a Sardis Forest home through thoughtful updates to the kitchen, dining room, home bar, and living room. The goal was to create a cohesive, inviting environment that seamlessly blends functionality with timeless design. The kitchen was reimagined with improved flow, enhanced storage, and refined finishes to support both everyday living and entertaining. Adjacent dining and living spaces were redesigned to create a more open and connected layout, while the custom home bar added a sophisticated focal point for hosting family and friends. These South Shore of Boston Homeowners approached the Team at Renovisions to power-up their powder room. Their half bath, located on the first floor, is used by several guests particularly over the holidays. When considering the heavy traffic and the daily use from two toddlers in the household, it was smart to go with a stylish, yet practical design. Wainscot made a nice change to this room, adding an architectural interest and an overall classic feel to this cape-style traditional home. Installing custom wainscoting may be a challenge for most DIY’s, however in this case the homeowners knew they needed a professional and felt they were in great hands with Renovisions.
