This is an organic Lime Wash done with a true lime wash product as opposed to a brick mortar or concrete that is often seen on new houses. This product can be applied as a solid coating making the surface completely white, or can be applied and "washed off" in many artistic ways, as seen here. This quaint craftsman home had a very dark, difficult master bath space and the homeowners were clamoring for a solution. Not only was more functionality mandatory, but also ensuring the style felt more like the homeowners and original to the house. We had the perfect solution… colorful concrete caustic tiles! Opening up the shower and removing the labyrinth-like doorless entrance was key! Doors now open in sensible ways, and the right things now seem to be in all the right places to get ready each day. We enabled the shower and the entire bathroom to be flooded with light and feature a stunning backwall full of style! This is now our clients’ happy place!

Inspiration for a contemporary outdoor patio shower remodel in New York

Our client had a painted wooden door at the entry of their home. Knowing that there was a quality wooden door beneath the fading paint lead her to ask us to help her strip the door and refinish the door back to its original wood grain. Our Team of Alyssa and Josh used a paint stripper and specialty stripping tools and techniques to remove the old paint. Here is a picture of the door during the stripping process. For this project we used a Soy Gel containing product - Blue Bear Paint Stripper. Karen likes this product because it works well and its eco friendly "Non-Caustic, Biodegradable, No Toxic Fumes" And once stained, clear-coated and rehung, it looked great!
