We used a matte white hex tile in the shower of the guest bathroom. The tricky part is making sure the patter of the tile wraps around he shower niche. We decided to trim the edge of the niche in a polished chrome schluter to match the fixtures.

A beautiful hand loomed pure wool carpeting was used on this project. This subtle pattern can be used in a modern or transitional space. The dark hardwood floor relates nicely with the Taupe, White and Grey colors in the carpet. Our fabrication team used a complimentary color in a cotton binding material to complete the sides. Our installer completed this staircase install within a two day time frame. Wool carpet is a great choice for a staircase because it is an easy material to clean, stain resistant and flame retardant.

Bathroom - transitional bathroom idea in Austin

I blew these roundels to create a Fall atmosphere in which the landscape and rounded volumes mimic the way trees sit together in the woods. The bottom right piece represents a waterfall and the water cascades to the left. The bottom left murrini roundels represent the last gasp flowers of the season. The top right roundels which are lighter represent the sky and wind and the series of roundels in the middle are the multi-colored trees.

Work on this historic Buckhead estate has evolved through three owners since 1986. Each owner had their own vision and program of needs for the property. From reclaimed meadows to pool house, each was accommodated gracefully on this eight acre lot. A significant non-native invasive plant removal program has been in place for 15 years with great success and benefit.
