How much style can we put in one small hall bathroom? Oh so much! Our clients needed to renovate their family bathroom which was almost completely original, in their 1920’s Royal Oak tudor style home – but they didn’t want to sacrifice the style and character that they love about their home. We enhanced the arch in the bathtub/shower area and incorporated traditional tile elements including a rich colored beveled tile and tile base and installed a traditional mosaic key patterned flooring. We added wallpaper and gold fixtures and topped it off with a bright white, stylish vanity. This bathroom is small, mighty and completely in sync with this historic home.

Our clients preferred refacing to replacing their kitchen cabinets in order to keep costs down and disruption to a minimum. We replaced their dated cabinet doors and drawer fronts with a clean, modern flush panel design. The resulting clear maple wall cabinets and dark gray base cabinets made an instant, dramatic change and brought this kitchen proudly into the 2020's!

A new colour palette was introduced and the layout was changed, creating space for a meditation corner. Rugs were also introduced to warm up the dated laminate flooring which was cold underfoot.
With the softer colours and layers of textures the room has become a cosier and more inviting space that is used during the day, and not just as a sleeping space.
90% of the contents were sourced second-hand.

We replaced the tile in the foyer from the dated diamond pattern of the 90's to this beautiful 24" x 24" ceramic. The foyer chandelier was changed out from a traditional 90's brass fixture to a beautiful polished nickel. All hardware was updated from brass to venetian bronze. Beautiful arched windows let natural light pour into this updated kitchen. By changing the backsplash tile and removing wallpaper and dated valances, we easily made this feel like a "new" kitchen.
