luxury kitchen with warm European character, blending French and Italian courtyard influences with soft organic forms and timeless materials. The space features a rounded kitchen island, curved architectural lines, an arched range hood, and an arched pantry door that give the room a sculptural, custom-designed feel. Copper pendant lighting adds warmth above the island, while terracotta flooring, sandstone accents, repurposed materials, and handcrafted tile details create depth and authenticity. The palette mixes cream, taupe, mushroom, sage, and chocolate brown with subtle rust undertones, producing an inviting, elevated atmosphere. Limewash paint, Venetian plaster, and vintage-inspired cabinetry complete the space with a refined old-world yet livable aesthetic.

In Seattle’s North Admiral neighborhood, this project began with a tear-down lot and the vision to create something new that still felt timeless. Built as a spec home, the design carefully considered the character of the surrounding homes, blending seamlessly into the block as if it had always been part of the community.
Inside, warm finishes and natural wood cabinetry bring a sense of comfort and authenticity, while modern touches elevate the living experience. A two-sided gas fireplace creates cozy ambiance for cool Pacific Northwest nights, and a wet bar offers the perfect setup for entertaining. The primary suite features a spacious soaking tub, balancing everyday function with a touch of luxury.
With four bedrooms and a detached alley-access garage, this home provides both convenience and charm. Thoughtfully designed from the ground up, it stands as a classic addition to the neighborhood — honoring tradition while embracing modern living.

A new Family Bathroom was created on the second floor. It includes a Double Vanity, plus tower for extra storage and display.
To add character and relate to the original 1900's period of the home, we chose black and white subway tiles, vintage inspired cabinets and faucets. A soothing green/blue paint adds color.

French Oak is considered one of the most admirable wood species because it has higher tannin than any other Oak around the globe; the higher tannin reacts better in the aging process, giving it the exquisite patina and time worn look. We only select character grade French Oak as it has the most beautiful natural cracks, knots and tight wood grains that no other wood species can offer.
Offered in planks 8-inch-wide and six-feet in length, and featuring an unusually deep 4mm thick sawn veneer for a lifetime of enjoyment.
Feel free to reach out with any questions you have about our French Oak flooring. We would be happy to answer them for you.
