This kitchen was part of a whole house remodeling in the exclusive Cottagewood community on Lake Minnetonka in the Twin Cities' west suburbs. Like the rest of the home, it is designed for entertaining family and friends.

This colorful room was created for a young man to have a space to study, play games, music, and entertain his friends. The LED lighting changes color and has pre-programmed patterns. The coffee table is also a refrigerator and charging station. The computer workstation is also a charging station. the stripes of the banded black shade mimic the stripe of the area rug.

In the new mudroom I created a Command Center. It has mailboxes, bulletin board, a device charging station, and homework center for our three children. It also contains our mail center and three pull-out recycling bins. I hand painted our existing concrete floor with a floral design. We already owned the wood mailboxes and I repainted them to match the cabinetry. The orb chandelier is from Ballard Designs.
