It would also serve perfectly as a rustic credenza, sideboard or buffet and would look amazing in any eclectic interior or rustic cabin setting. This rustic media console is handmade with rawhide by us here in our shop located in Texas. It can be made in any size or configuration, but the one in this listing is for one that is 18” deep and 27” high (see listing options for common widths. One shown is 72” wide). Please email for pricing on any custom sizes. As you can see, it has four doors that are leather (authentic leather), but we can make it with any number of doors. Or, we can make it with mesh doors (like you see on many of our other media consoles) so remote control infrared signals can pass through. The top, sides, and doors are also real leather but can be made with reclaimed wood. Or, for a more industrial look, we can add decorative rivets as you see on many of our other items. There is one inner shelf that spans the entire width of the unit. There are no inner partitions, so wide AV components can easily fit inside. There is a back with a 2” gap at the bottom for cables to exit. We can make the legs any height you’d like. So, if you want a more “chunky” looking unit, we can make it with shorter legs. Or, prefer a visually “lighter” looking unit? We can make it with taller legs. We can also all solid steel wheels to give it a bar cart height. Another popular configuration for this particular piece is to make it with a brown frame as opposed to the black one shown. This builder's-choice master bathroom might have been stylish and in when built in 1985, but 30 years later it has not stood the test of time. First, we opened up the room by removing the heavy soffits and the excessive corner cabinetry. We designed a more streamline, floating vanity with beautiful quartz countertops and a waterfall edge. We expanded the footprint of the shower and created a seamless beach entry by removing the shower dam. Then we choose to wrap the room and adjacent commode with white subway tile and a custom marble border. The most dramatic renovation was replacing the outdated jacuzzi tub with an elegant free-standing soaking tub. This was a must on the wish-list for the clients - not for the wife as you might expect - but for the husband. He is a motorcycle enthusiast and after long trips on his bike, he likes to take a soak. Inspired to use art that tells a personal story about the clients, I recommended creating a photo canvas from a treasured picture of the husband standing with his motorcycle helmet on a beautiful desert road. This final touch connects my clients to their space and makes them smile every time they see it.

Meet Meridith: a super-mom who’s as busy as she is badass  — and easily my favorite overachiever. She slays her office job and comes home to an equally high-octane family life. We share a love for city living with farmhouse aspirations. There’s a vegetable garden in the backyard, a black cat, and a floppy eared rabbit named Rocky. There has been a mobile chicken coop and a colony of bees in the backyard. At one point they even had a pregnant hedgehog on their hands! Between gardening, entertaining, and helping with homework, Meridith has zero time for interior design. Spending several days a week in New York for work, she has limited amount of time at home with her family. My goal was to let her make the most of it by taking her design projects off her to do list and let her get back to her family (and rabbit). I wanted her to spend her weekends at her son's baseball games, not shopping for sofas. That’s my cue! Meridith is wonderful. She is one of the kindest people I know. We had so much fun, it doesn’t seem fair to call this “work”. She is loving, and smart, and funny. She’s one of those girlfriends everyone wants to call their own best friend. I wanted her house to reflect that: to feel cozy and inviting, and encourage guests to stay a while. Meridith is not your average beige person, and she has excellent taste. Plus, she was totally hands-on with design choices. It was a true collaboration. We played up her quirky side and built usable, inspiring spaces one lightbulb moment at a time. I took her love for color (sacré blue!) and immediately started creating a plan for her space and thinking about her design wish list. I set out hunting for vibrant hues and intriguing patterns that spoke to her color palette and taste for pattern. I focused on creating the right vibe in each space: a bit of drama in the dining room, a bit more refined and quiet atmosphere for the living room, and a neutral zen tone in their master bedroom. Her stuff. My eye. Meridith’s impeccable taste comes through in her art collection. The perfect placement of her beautiful paintings served as the design model for color and mood. We had a bit of a chair graveyard on our hands, but we worked with some key pieces of her existing furniture and incorporated other traditional pieces, which struck a pleasant balance. French chairs, Asian-influenced footstools, turned legs, gilded finishes, glass hurricanes – a wonderful mash-up of traditional and contemporary. Some special touches were custom-made (the marble backsplash in the powder room, the kitchen banquette) and others were happy accidents (a wallpaper we spotted via Pinterest). They all came together in a design aesthetic that feels warm, inviting, and vibrant — just like Meridith! We built her space based on function. We asked ourselves, “how will her family use each room on any given day?” Meridith throws legendary dinner parties, so we needed curated seating arrangements that could easily switch from family meals to elegant entertaining. We sought a cozy eat-in kitchen and decongested entryways that still made a statement. Above all, we wanted Meredith’s style and panache to shine through every detail. Mrs. Deighan loved to cook, but hated her kitchen. It was nonfunctional, inefficient, and an eyesore. The sink was in the corner under low cabinets. The awkwardly placed fridge made it impractical for the entire family to be working together. And that was a big deal. She wanted a beautiful place to cook and entertain. Besides the cramped space, the old, brown plywood cabinets were falling apart. Because the cabinets were low, under-cabinet lighting was useless. The kitchen was dark. The previous owners had updated the flooring, but only by putting uglier tiles over the old vinyl. And the ceiling had a leak stain. It was time for a big change. The Deighan's called Amos from ALL Renovation & Design. Amos’s many successful remodeling projects done for them over the years had forged a friendship that made him the obvious contractor of choice. Amos sat down with them and asked them to make a dream kitchen list. If budget were of no concern, what would the space look like? Once the Deighan's had their list, Amos helped them to evaluate each investment, taking into consideration the age and value of the home. Then Amos presented a plan that fit perfectly in the Deighan's budget. The basic U-shaped kitchen layout stayed the same. Modern, creamy white custom cabinets replaced the dark plywood cabinets. The fridge moved to make space for more cabinets. The biggest challenge was moving the laundry room wall a few feet. Moving it was necessary to add more space, but, since the wall was load-bearing, moving it required extra attention. It was worth it. Extra space allowed the counter to extend and the sink to move. After the hard work ended, the reason for the transformation became reality. Now “we can have the whole family in there comfortably and working together,” Mrs. Deighan said. She loves her kitchen. Especially the windowed cabinets that show off her fiestaware. And when you see the beautiful St. Cecilia granite countertops, with Milstone Sari porcelain mosaic tile backsplash, maple flat-panel cabinets with under-cabinet lighting, and all new appliances including a double oven, you will see why she does.
