Our main goal was to blend Contemporary lines with organic materials such as Re-Claimed Barn Wood and Hot Rolled Steel, we coordinated with the builder Go West Dev. and sourced the barn wood from the same batch so they would have the same barn wood on the accent walls as we have on the cabinets. It was fun working with LMK Interior Design on this project. Rion is a very talented Designer.

Bathroom Remodel. Customer had a set budget to work within from her insurance claim. We assisted her in selecting materials within her budget. We demolished her previous bathroom and installed the new one.

We were hired to design a Northern Michigan home for our clients to retire. They wanted an inviting “Mountain Rustic” style that would offer a casual, warm and inviting feeling while also taking advantage of the view of nearby Deer Lake. Most people downsize in retirement, but for our clients more space was a virtue. The main level provides a large kitchen that flows into open concept dining and living. With all their family and visitors, ample entertaining and gathering space was necessary. A cozy three-season room which also opens onto a large deck provide even more space. The bonus room above the attached four car garage was a perfect spot for a bunk room. A finished lower level provided even more space for the grandkids to claim as their own, while the main level master suite allows grandma and grandpa to have their own retreat. Rustic details like a reclaimed lumber wall that includes six different varieties of wood, large fireplace, exposed beams and antler chandelier lend to the rustic feel our client’s desired. Ultimately, we were able to capture and take advantage of as many views as possible while also maintaining the cozy and warm atmosphere on the interior. This gorgeous home with abundant space makes it easy for our clients to enjoy the company of their five children and seven grandchildren who come from near and far to enjoy the home.

Creating your outdoor living space means claiming your own little slice of nature and customizing it to suit your lifestyle and enhance your daily routine. Sometimes there is nothing more relaxing than sitting on your favorite patio chair, feeling the warm sun mixed with a cool breeze, and smelling the fragrant flowers blossoming in your garden. Imagine how much more time you would spend outside if you had your very own cabana, bungalow, pergola, sunroom or pool house to enjoy! Think of all the ways an outdoor room could enhance your Southern California lifestyle and prime your home for entertaining guests year-round.

Lovely room, lousy bath. KitchenVisions creating this award-winning bath by redesigning the bathroom and closet, actually giving the bathroom a door, a double vanity and creating extra storage by claiming space under the eaves, and moving the door to the attic spaces behind the bath.
A 'wet room', shower/bath combination maximizes the floor area and the soft blues/ whites and air bath create a relaxing space to unwind

Mid-sized traditional white one-story stucco house exterior idea in Los Angeles with a hip roof and a shingle roof

This space was special indeed! When the family moved into their home the daughter of the house immediately laid claim to this room - which included a half-height storage space, full of possibilities!
For the main space we chose a bright, fresh green to keep the space uplifting all through the year. I used a blue stripe to mimic the feel of a canopy and to make a feature of the sloped section of the ceiling rather than attempt to hide it.
The room is filled with storage to accommodate a growing wardrobe and features upcycled furniture to ensure the space is completely bespoke.
Hidden behind a poster is a secret library, painted a dark, moody blue and styled to give hints of Hogwarts. The ceiling is adorned with a navy, celestial print wallpaper and there are cosy touches dotted around to make this the perfect spot to curl up and while away hours with a good book. Floating candles lend a touch of fun and much needed light to the space.

This bathroom claimed space from an adjacent bedroom closet. The result is this large bathroom with plenty of natural light. A heated tile floor completes the space.

Check out the laundry details as well. The beloved house cats claimed the entire corner of cabinetry for the ultimate maze (and clever litter box concealment).

The Augusta Collection has been called our masterpiece creation!
Featuring wide paddle arms, a sloping seat and rear supporting legs, it has some common elements of the Adirondack chair. And although it could claim the Adirondack as a cousin, the Augusta has created a style completely its own. This new design bucks the trend of other teak manufacturers to minimize the amount of teak in favor of aluminum or stainless. Never to be described as sleek or slender, Augusta pieces are typically 10-15% larger in scope than competing deep seating furniture. The Augusta Club Chair and Loveseat come with a 3-stop reclining feature to offer varied relaxing positions. Along with the good looking style from the front and side, the Augusta furniture adds an exquisite, handsome curve to the backrest design.
