To achieve the indoor/outdoor quality our client wanted, we installed multiple moment frames to carry the existing roof. It looks clean and organized in this photo but there is a lot going on in the structure. Don't be afraid to make big structural moves to achieve an open space. It is always worth it!

Drawing from one of the owner's experience as a chef, the kitchen is inspired by a commercial kitchen. Walls of durable metal pegboard embody the project's authentic approach in which the tools of everyday life are displayed as objects, while simultaneously making kitchen utensils convenient to use. New master bath vanity with the new shower in the mirror reflection Counter top is natural marble with a china sink. Custom made cabinetry. The upper cabinets sit on the counter top. They have an electrical outlet inside. The lower vanity has an electrical out with a small water pump to keep warm water at the ready. The lower cabinet efficiently uses the space under the doors as a drawer. The doors hide the plumbing supply valves and waste pipe. The upper cabinets have obscure class in the doors.

Stepping into this bright modern home in Seattle we hope you get a bit of that mid century feel. The kitchen and baths have a flat panel cabinet design to achieve a clean look. Throughout the home we have oak flooring and casing for the windows. Some focal points we are excited for you to see; organic wrought iron custom floating staircase, floating bathroom cabinets, herb garden and grow wall, outdoor pool/hot tub and an elevator for this 3 story home. The term “industrial” evokes images of large factories with lots of machinery and moving parts. These cavernous, old brick buildings, built with steel and concrete are being rehabilitated into very desirable living spaces all over the country. Old manufacturing spaces have unique architectural elements that are often reclaimed and repurposed into what is now open residential living space. Exposed ductwork, concrete beams and columns, even the metal frame windows are considered desirable design elements that give a nod to the past. This unique loft space is a perfect example of the rustic industrial style. The exposed beams, brick walls, and visible ductwork speak to the building’s past. Add a modern kitchen in complementing materials and you have created casual sophistication in a grand space.
