This year’s Pioneer West home was a unique collaboration between the builder, the home owner, and La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries Designer, Jessica Brown. The home features a rich, warm, organic palette with spaces that are flooded with natural light. This home boasts a beautiful Solarium that will be filled with lush tropical plants which were used to inspire every aspect of the interior finishes and furnishings. The Solarium truly brings the outdoors in, and a little bit of home to Colorado for these Florida natives. Connecting all the main living spaces of the home, the Solarium, has inspired a twist on Colorado and Tuscan style, charmingly referred to as “Tuscarado.” The senses abound with texture, pattern, and color as you make your way from room to room in this beautiful Broadmoor Canyon home. Bedroom in downtown loft with NO windows! This was the challenge Interior Designer Rebecca Robeson faced when beginning this Denver Loft Remodel.
Rebecca began by identifying the focal-point wall and addressing the overall dark feel of the room. She painted 3 walls a soft grey and one wall a dark navy blue. Rebecca applied her creative genius to the space by hanging nine beveled mirrors on the dark wall above the bed as a clever way to fool the eye into thinking the mirrors were windows. To further indulge the concept, Rebecca added crisp white linen panels to mimic window treatments on either side. This design idea created a dramatic symmetrical backdrop for the Bedroom furniture... A spectacular oversized blue and white rug (Aja Rugs) sets a perfect foundation for the queen size bed with two oversize nightstands in crisp white, the Bedroom was complete.

The kids' loft provides plenty of play room thanks to its space-saving bunks. Burnished timbers are a lovely compliment to the hardwood floor, wood-framed windows, and angled, wood ceiling.

Located in the exclusive development of Bachelor Gulch, CO this ski-in, ski-out home’s design recalls the historic lodges of the West’s National Parks. The use of massive logs, hand hewn siding and locally sourced moss rock base dominate the exterior. The interior has a refined feel with a mix of black granite reclaimed barn board siding and antique wide plank floors. The home uses a Geothermal based radiant floor heating system.
