SSC installed our soapstone countertops and created a gorgeous custom sink from soapstone. Melody and the rest of the team were quick to respond and very professional. Install was painless and the countertops and sink are beautiful .

I am so happy I chose to use SSC Countertops for my kitchen reno. I went through a few other companies prior and was very unhappy with the lack of communication and professionalism, especially with something so important to me. SSC immediately responded and got to work on my project. They promptly answered all of my MANY questions and were so polite and friendly in doing so. I'm am very happy with the service I received and even happier with the final product! They did an amazing job with my counter and I could tell they put a lot of care and detail in this, even it may have been a smaller job for them. We recently had SSC install granite countertops and splashes in a kitchen. We are very pleased with the results and of the recent five granite projects we have had install by others we would rate SSC at the top of the pack. The workmanship of the fabrication was excellent, especially the folded edges and mitered joints. The installation team had to deal with tight tolerances on finished surfaces and were able to install without a scratch. Thank you SSC for a job well done.

This is the second time I have used SSC Countertops. I was very pleased with my first countertop and so I called them again when I installed a new wall of base cabinets. The installers, Barry and Eddie, did a great job and were so pleasant and respectful of me and my home. Also, I very much appreciated the corrective work they did on my old soapstone countertop. I really did not expect them to work on it that day and when they did I fully expected to be charged for their time but I was not charged. I highly recommend SSC Countertops. Everyone I dealt with were professional and helpful and easy to work with. Thank you!

SSC recently supplied and installed a Dekton countertop for my new outdoor kitchen. I was at first hesitant to use Dekton due to the higher price and it being somewhat of a new material. Melody took the time to explain things to me and provided me with lower cost options all in a prompt and friendly manner. When I decided to proceed, Alex came to measure and he was extremely detailed taking care to make sure everything was right. Both Melody and Alex kept me up to date with the fabrication and installation schedule so I can plan my days. Nice to be kept informed. Finally, on installation day, the installers were simply fantastic. They took extreme care in making sure everything was installed right. They were professional, dressed in uniform and swept everything clean after. They even fixed a very small chip on my indoor kitchen while waiting for the glue to dry! Everything looks great. The fabrication was extremely high quality and accurate so everything fit as measured. It was a great experience from start to finish and I would deal with SSC again without hesitation.

We recently used SSC to do a vanity and bath surround for a bathroom. What a professional group to deal with from start to finish. Choosing the surface was easy as they have lots of amazing surfaces to see on site. The job was done in a timely manner from start to finish. All appointments were set up ahead of time and the install was fabulous!

I really enjoyed working with the team at SSC – everyone I dealt with was extremely helpful and patient. When you’re dealing with your first major home renovation and all the stress that comes along with it (as I was), it’s really helpful and a relief to know that you are dealing with professionals who are extremely customer-service oriented and will take the time to explain and show you all of the different options (materials, colour, patterns, edges, thickness, plus what seems like a hundred other things you didn’t know or realize). I visited their office and showroom a few times where Daryn took me into the shop to show/explain to me the technicalities of all things countertops. Although our original choice of countertop wasn’t available (2-3 month delay), Melody was able to suggest other alternatives that were similar (and actually slightly cheaper!) and more readily available. I would highly recommend SSC Countertops to anyone looking for beautiful workmanship (part of the job included building a countertop around the brick chimney in our kitchen), great customer service, on time (work was completed quickly once we had everything sorted) and on budget! SSC was great from day one when we first contacted them about the amount of slab material we would need to do our kitchen, through to day 757 (!) when the final touches were being applied to our finished kitchen. Through multiple delays in our project, they stayed in touch and committed to making it all happen. When we were finally ready for them, we were swiftly slotted into their schedule and kept informed of timelines. They involved us in decisions on suggested cuts to our very special and dramatic Patagonia granite slabs, and provided both technological expertise and artistic excellence to achieve a superb result. Way beyond the call of all other trades we've involved, they worked through a weekend to complete the installation with exceptional commitment to detail, and remained cheerful despite lugging tools up then ladder to the kitchen floor.

We had SSC create a top for our kitchen table to match the layout of the seating. SSC was great to deal with and was quick to get back to us with questions on the design. We'd asked them to expedite the processing of our order as we had some guests coming over and once we'd sorted out the design they turned our order around in just a few days. The quality of the top is excellent and we're really pleased with the final product. All the people we interacted with were helpful and courteous. A wonderful company to work with.
