This lovely parterre was commissioned by our client for his underutilized side yard, to commemorate gardens they had loved while traveling. Adapting traditional design to our southern landscape pallet, we were able to achieve a lovely shade garden defined by stone columns, iron gates, and gravel pathways.

In 1887, England declared an imperial holiday to commemorate Queen Victoria’s 50th year on the throne—her “golden jubilee.” Public celebrations occurred across the empire. Photographs from India show a distinctive array of glass lanterns illuminating the occasion, representing the hybrid of Anglo and Indian design sensibilities. Hampton reproduces these historic, mouth-blown glass lanterns. While the oversized bell jar originally held a reservoir of whale oil, we suspend a candelabra array to provide warm light without the mess. The upper shade deflected the oil’s thick smoke to prevent it from staining the ceiling. Hampton comes in four metal finishes and three glass options, allowing you to customize the look to your own décor. Overall Dimensions: 10.25"Dia. x 14.75"H

"Fancy That" potting shed is a design that we developed exclusively for the 2013 Philadelphia Flower Show. It is the center piece of the Jacque Amand International Bulb Specialists exhibit. The shed in the show is our production original Philadelphia Flower Show Commemorative Edition.

In the game room – we took a more masculine approach with a darker tone to the walls and a rustically modern pool table. A wine cellar customized with sliding glass and steel doors, houses the owners’ collection of premier crus. The framed album covers were a birthday gift from husband to wife, commemorating her favorite music.

Inspiration for a timeless patio remodel in San Francisco

Lighter carpeting reflects the light, and the pattern makes the slim hallway feel wider. A corner cabinet with Adamsesque details adds elegance, while improved lighting from a wall mounted brass swing arm lamp, light silk lampshade, and a larger hall pendant lamp, brighten the space. A handsome striped paper from York Wallcovering emphasizes the high ceilings in this compact space.

LCM PLUS worked with our client St. Mary of the Annunciation Parish of Melrose to design & install patio space around existing statues. The area is frequented by parishioners coming to pray or relax, however the lack of seating and dull landscape detracted from the beauty of the Carrara Marble statues and serenity of the garden. In 1947 the Italian American Catholic Club of St. Mary’s designed, paid for, and erected this Carrara marble group of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 3 children, and Urn outside the then convent. This garden has been the focal point of the Parish Mary procession since the 1940’s with children crowning the Blessed Virgin Mary with flowers at the end of each procession. Donors are commemorated with engraved pavers for the patio area, engraved granite plaques on the entry pillars & the base of the statue, as well as engraved granite benches for visitors. LCM PLUS was honored to complete this work.
