This backyard had everything our client needed except for a place where he could enjoy his yard with loved ones. This fire-pit inspiration came from his love of camping. He loved the natural look to bring him even closer to his dream. This fire-pit features, a new natural stone patio, Natural stone fire pit and paved walkway.

The patio off of the garage is covered with a slide wire awning that provides shade in the summer and sun in the winter. An outdoor room hosts dining and leisure and extends the living space of the home. The patio is paved with concrete permeable pavers which allows proper drainage on this small lot.

A new home needs some time for the landscape to mature, however this house backs onto a greenbelt, so the clients have nature at their door step. An avid gardener and nature lover, this client asked for a lap pool, outdoor shower, patio area, veggie garden and outdoor kitchen area. She received everything plus a water feature and a small pool house with a powder room. Materials include natural stone walls & raised planter, sand-etch concrete and patio slab inlays. Metal containers are used for the veggie garden in the side yard.

This project was a conversion from lawn to a patio area and drought tolerant space. The colors were blues, grays, whites and yellows.

This yard was unusable by the resident grownups and unsafe for their kids who wished they had a place to retreat from city hazards. We refurbished the crumbling concrete retaining wall at the bottom. built another wall above that using dry-stacked broken concrete pieces, and a third wall at the top using decorative dry-stacked cement blocks. Between the upper two walls, we carved out a space for a patio, which we paved with Mediterranean style pavers. At the patio's front edge, we built a safety railing of redwood and vertical steel tubes, which gave it a classy look.

It gives you this feeling of perpetual serenity, no matter how hectic your day was like. We describe it as draping your living spaces with shades of smooth silk. Also worth noting that the 'Kronos Stone' is one of the few stones in the world stable for both wall stone cladding as well as exterior stone paving and indoor floor covering!

Minimal palette, Maximum impact! The brief was highly specific, an outdoor space suited for relaxing, entertaining friends and most importantly, featuring an outdoor fire place. Materials needed to echo the interior and architectural style of the house. With the planting all plants were to be evergreen, limited to various shades of green with no additional colour. The only permitted flower colour was white - with Rosemary being the sole exception to the rule.

This was a fun project in which the client agreed to let us mix and blend different pavers we had in stock into the design. Not only was it cost saving for the client, but it allowed us to create this beautiful and unique design for his patio/firepit area.
