Ulrich Desginer: Don DiNovi, CKD Photography by Peter Rymwid This lovely new kitchen incorporates defined work areas to accommodate the multi-tasking activities of a busy family. Four work stations fit and function easily and beautifully in a tidy 300 SF space: (1) cooking, including separate gas and electric cooking surfaces; (2) prep/cleaning, on the island; and (3) food storage, in the cherry wood armoire concealing both refrigerator and pantry. (4) is the area between the food storage and double ovens (around the corner from the formal serving hutch) and is devoted to baking.

This image features the bathroom's very elegant Victoria & Albert slipper tub. Centrally located under the windows, this tub is ideal for unwinding after along day and complimented by a period style wall mount chrome tub fill and hand spray. The floor shown is a natural clefted slate with radiant heating.

A bright, colorful bunk room that sleeps 8 comfortably is a big hit with the little ones in this family. Ceiling beams were painted bright white and contrasted with the apple green paint on the ceiling. Turquoise and acid green bedding brings a color pop to this fun space.

This old tiny kitchen now boasts big space, ideal for a small family or a bigger gathering. It's main feature is the customized black metal frame that hangs from the ceiling providing support for two natural maple butcher block shevles, but also divides the two rooms. A downdraft vent compliments the functionality and aesthetic of this installation. The kitchen counters encroach into the dining room, providing more under counter storage. The concept of a proportionately larger peninsula allows more working and entertaining surface. The weightiness of the counters was balanced by the wall of tall cabinets. These cabinets provide most of the kitchen storage and boast an appliance garage, deep pantry and a clever lemans system for the corner storage. Eat-in kitchen - 1950s single-wall eat-in kitchen idea in Toronto with a farmhouse sink, flat-panel cabinets, medium tone wood cabinets, white backsplash, mosaic tile backsplash, stainless steel appliances and an island

An outdated 1920's kitchen in Bayside Queens was turned into a refreshed, classic and timeless space that utilized the very limited space to its maximum capacity. The cabinets were once outdated and a dark brown that made the space look even smaller. Now, they are a bright white, accompanied by white subway tile, a light quartzite countertop and brushed brass hardware throughout. What made all the difference was the use of the dark porcelain floors as a great contrast to all the white. We were also diligent to keep the hold extractor a clear glass and stainless steel.

Mid-Century update to a home located in NW Portland. The project included a new kitchen with skylights, multi-slide wall doors on both sides of the home, kitchen gathering desk, children's playroom, and opening up living room and dining room ceiling to dramatic vaulted ceilings. Inspiration for a timeless dark wood floor hallway remodel in Minneapolis with white walls

The storybook exterior features a front facing garage that is ideal for narrower lots. The arched garage bays add character to the whimsical exterior. This home enjoys a spacious single dining area while the kitchen is multi-functional with a center cook-top island and bar seating for casual eating and gathering. Two additional bedrooms are found upstairs, and are separated by a loft for privacy.
