A BIG Transformation ON A modest BUDGET: This is the first phase of our work, which involves real deal transformation. Yes, the entry was in need of some love, along with some consolidating and simplifying. The client wanted to express her East Coast beach-y roots, and we wanted to do this without getting super theme-y. We utilized sunny yellow and yellow-greens, along with colors of the sea. We created a cozy, warm and uber-inviting sitting area. The drapes were sewn through Warehouse Fabrics, Inc., doing a fabulous job creating custom treatments (a teal linen weave with yellow brush trim), within a very tight budget. The seating was custom (Castellano Furniture of Portland); lime green chairs and a curvy sofa in yellow with that lime green welting & pillows. Also some playful Blue and yellow pillow fabric (Kravet) was the genuine inspiration for character and color scheme. The rug, by FLOR of Portland (thanks Shaina) is meant to evoke a beach blanket. Oh, and the glass jar filled with sand and sand dollars. . . well, ok, we are giving a nod to the sea.

This gorgeous kitchen features our 37" workstation sink, seen with our black, wood fiber cutting board with colander and mixing bowl set. The drain is offset to the right, corresponding with the placement of the dishwasher to consolidate plumbing and free up cabinet space for storage. The offset drain also allows access to the drain when accessories are used on the sink ledge.

A kitchen that is as practical as it is beautiful - another recent project by European Kitchen Center located on the Upper West Side. Off-white kitchen cabinetry with a sleek design without handles. The contrast veining of the countertop and glass/wood tall unit add a twist to the overall look. Thoughtful arrangement of layout enhances kitchen organization and efficiency, consolidating key elements into one streamlined space while maintaining a modern appearance. Different internal accessories and mechanisms make this kitchen top-level.

For this bathroom renovation, the first thing we needed to address was it’s functionally. The layout needed some major changes in order to consolidate all three separate closet spaces into one main walk-in closet. I believe that the flow of a room can really increase its usability and it’s the most important part of any design project. By shifting the closets around, we were also able to double the size of the shower. With all that extra shower space, we designed a walk-in shower that features a beautiful and bold free-standing tub. I am obsessing over this design element. The shower combination is definitely my favorite part of this project.

This is recently remodeled Master Bathroom in Herndon, VA. We consolidated the vanities to one side of the bathroom to include an elegant sit down area and tall linen cabinet with countertop. The shower was enlarged and relocated to opposite side of the room. We replaced the outdated platform tub with a freestanding contemporary soaking tub. Custom Organization Project: A Happy Medium for a boy and girl merging into one room. Defining space and labeling everything helps when sharing space. The biggest part was consolidating before the decor could happen. Many tears but in the end, everyone had what they needed and room to grow. More importantly a there was a happy mom who could manage organization during her downsize.

In this beautiful master bathroom remodel, the existing locations of plumbing fixtures were consolidated to create specific and efficient areas for each bathroom function.
