Regan Baker Design Inc.Stylish brewery owners with airline miles that match George Clooney’s decided to hire Regan Baker Design to transform their beloved Duboce Park second home into an organic modern oasis reflecting their modern aesthetic and sustainable, green conscience lifestyle. From hops to floors, we worked extensively with our design savvy clients to provide a new footprint for their kitchen, dining and living room area, redesigned three bathrooms, reconfigured and designed the master suite, and replaced an existing spiral staircase with a new modern, steel staircase. We collaborated with an architect to expedite the permit process, as well as hired a structural engineer to help with the new loads from removing the stairs and load bearing walls in the kitchen and Master bedroom. We also used LED light fixtures, FSC certified cabinetry and low VOC paint finishes.
Regan Baker Design was responsible for the overall schematics, design development, construction documentation, construction administration, as well as the selection and procurement of all fixtures, cabinets, equipment, furniture,and accessories.

GRAPHITE Architecture & InteriorsThis large loft is a celebration of the simple but dramatic structure of the tenement building it sits in. The former attic space is graced with extraordinarily long rafter ties and a uniquely sloped, corbeled brick chimney. Floors are original pine plank, unadorned and raw. An extremely tight budget was managed through the re-use of these exquisitely utilitarian existing materials.

GRAPHITE Architecture & InteriorsMost of the effort in this small flat for a couple in Brooklyn’s Prospect Heights neighborhood was characterized by the removal of walls and finishes to reveal the space that was hidden behind multiple renovations. The exposed brick and concrete were supplemented with wood and steel to create a raw but elegant palette. Built-in and custom storage make clever use of valuable Brooklyn real estate, where mere inches count for everything.

Zeitgeist SonomaToscana-inspired residence, Healdsburg, California. Site planning, schematic development through construction administration. Features 10 foot interior ceilings, central courtyard which is shaded by the house itself, great connectivity between indoor and outdoor spaces. PEH ArchitectsInterior and exterior remodel to an existing single-family home. Demolished and raised the floor of the lowered portion of the main level of an existing bi-level house. An addition was created for a new study over an existing patio, a cantilevered addition at the kitchen, and a light-filled breakfast area was also added. Demolished the existing carport and storage area, and constructed a new garage with a spacious entertainment deck above. The new driveway utilizing the existing curb cut was approved through administrative review.
Pisano Development Group, LLCThis new roof dormer and 3rd floor roof deck renovation project converted an existing attic area to a new showcase for this bayfront home. The project included a new dormered roof terrace, covered balcony, and renovated attic space with french-style doors opening to gorgeous views of the bay and marina.
Pisano Development Group provided a preliminary structural evaluation of the existing home, structural design services for new construction, and construction administration services.
Regan Baker Design Inc.Hired by the owners to provide interior design services for a complete remodel of a mid-century home in Berkeley Hills, California this family of four’s wishes were to create a home that was inviting, playful, comfortable and modern. Slated with a quirky floor plan that needed a rational design solution we worked extensively with the homeowners to provide interior selections for all finishes, cabinet designs, redesign of the fireplace and custom media cabinet, headboard and platform bed. Hues of walnut, white, gray, blues and citrine yellow were selected to bring an overall inviting and playful modern palette. Regan Baker Design was responsible for construction documents and assited with construction administration to help ensure the designs were well executed. Styling and new furniture was paired to compliment a few existing key pieces, including a commissioned piece of art, side board, dining table, console desk, and of course the breathtaking view of San Francisco's Bay.
