White oak herringbone running the length of the hallway on the 24th floor of a Buckhead high-rise. The pattern was set out on site, then sanded and finished in place with LOBA EasyPrime and two coats of LOBA 2K Duo in satin, so the colour and sheen run continuously from the hall into the living areas rather than breaking at the doorway. This solid cherry open rise stair is BIG. In this stair design, we opted out of the traditional “stacked” stair layout for an original “scissor” layout normally reserved for straight stairs.
