The stained glass panels for the doors were designed in prairie style fashion. This look was made popular in the early 1900’s by famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Wright was known for creating designs that took the entire room into account as opposed to focusing on one aspect. The geometric shapes and thick leaded lines that you see here were very typical of his designs. Though prairie styles originated nearly one hundred years ago, they continue to remain popular today among art enthusiasts and have a powerful influence on modern architecture.
You too can bring the look of Frank Lloyd Wright artwork into your home with prairie style stained glass from Stained Glass Denver. We work with local artisans that are very talented in creating a wide range of stained glass designs. Not only can stained glass enhance the physical appearance of your home, but it can also increase its resale value and provide your family with privacy. This gorgeous custom wine cellar in Texas is comprised of unfinished premium redwood wine racks, reclaimed wine barrel flooring, and Stonecoat.
Everything comes together to create an aesthetically appealing and highly functional wine storage space.
Of course, it's the little details that really make the wine room stand out: hand-carved grapevine designs, a marble tile art piece, and more.

This lovely little modern farmhouse is located at the base of the foothills in one of Boulder’s most prized neighborhoods. Tucked onto a challenging narrow lot, this inviting and sustainably designed 2400 sf., 4 bedroom home lives much larger than its compact form. The open floor plan and vaulted ceilings of the Great room, kitchen and dining room lead to a beautiful covered back patio and lush, private back yard. These rooms are flooded with natural light and blend a warm Colorado material palette and heavy timber accents with a modern sensibility. A lyrical open-riser steel and wood stair floats above the baby grand in the center of the home and takes you to three bedrooms on the second floor. The Master has a covered balcony with exposed beamwork & warm Beetle-kill pine soffits, framing their million-dollar view of the Flatirons.
Its simple and familiar style is a modern twist on a classic farmhouse vernacular. The stone, Hardie board siding and standing seam metal roofing create a resilient and low-maintenance shell. The alley-loaded home has a solar-panel covered garage that was custom designed for the family’s active & athletic lifestyle (aka “lots of toys”). The front yard is a local food & water-wise Master-class, with beautiful rain-chains delivering roof run-off straight to the family garden.

Solid, double-deep diamond bin custom wine racking TX was installed beneath the arch display and tabletop area.
The premium redwood of the rack contrasts beautifully with the "Cooperage" reclaimed wine barrel flooring.
Individual bottle and case storage racks can also be seen here, to the left of right of the space.

This is a shelf on a quarter round display custom wine rack TX.
Quarter round displays, as their name implies, are made to showcase wines, wine accessories, art, etc.
They also provide a smooth cap for a row of, say, individual bottle racking.
A close-up of the Stonecoat and "Cooperage" reclaimed wine barrel flooring can also be seen.

“Immediately upon seeing the space, I knew that we needed to create a narrative that allowed the design to control how you moved through the space,” reports Kimberly, senior interior designer.
After surveying each room and learning a bit more about their personal style, we started with the living room remodel. It was clear that the couple wanted to infuse mid-century modern into the design plan. Sourcing the Room & Board Jasper Sofa with its narrow arms and tapered legs, it offered the mid-century look, with the modern comfort the clients are used to. Velvet accent pillows from West Elm and Crate & Barrel add pops of colors but also a subtle touch of luxury, while framed pictures from the couple’s honeymoon personalize the space.
Moving to the dining room next, Kimberly decided to add a blue accent wall to emphasize the Horchow two piece Percussion framed art that was to be the focal point of the dining area. The Seno sideboard from Article perfectly accentuated the mid-century style the clients loved while providing much-needed storage space. The palette used throughout both rooms were very New York style, grays, blues, beiges, and whites, to add depth, Kimberly sourced decorative pieces in a mixture of different metals.
“The artwork above their bureau in the bedroom is photographs that her father took,”
Moving into the bedroom renovation, our designer made sure to continue to stick to the client’s style preference while once again creating a personalized, warm and comforting space by including the photographs taken by the client’s father. The Avery bed added texture and complimented the other colors in the room, while a hidden drawer at the foot pulls out for attached storage, which thrilled the clients. A deco-inspired Faceted mirror from West Elm was a perfect addition to the bedroom due to the illusion of space it provides. The result was a bedroom that was full of mid-century design, personality, and area so they can freely move around.
The project resulted in the form of a layered mid-century modern design with touches of luxury but a space that can not only be lived in but serves as an extension of the people who live there. Our designer was able to take a very narrowly shaped Manhattan apartment and revamp it into a spacious home that is great for sophisticated entertaining or comfortably lazy nights in.

Sitting in one of Capital Hill’s beautiful neighborhoods, the exterior of this residence portrays a
bungalow style home as from the Arts and Craft era. By adding a large dormer to east side of the house,
the street appeal was maintained which allowed for a large master suite to be added to the second
floor. As a result, the two guest bedrooms and bathroom were relocated to give to master suite the
space it needs. Although much renovation was done to the Federalist interior, the original charm was
kept by continuing the formal molding and other architectural details throughout the house. In addition
to opening up the stair to the entry and floor above, the sense of gained space was furthered by opening
up the kitchen to the dining room and remodeling the space to provide updated finishes and appliances
as well as custom cabinetry and a hutch. The main level also features an added powder room with a
beautiful black walnut vanity.

Beautiful pieces from the clients’ international collection of art & decor items complement the sophisticated interiors of this Portland home.
