White brick surrounds this stainless steel double oven range. While copper pots, a traditional dinner bell and rooster figurines provide the perfect farmhouse chic accents in this kitchen.

We designed modern industrial kitchen in Rowayton in collaboration with Bruce Beinfield of Beinfield Architecture for his personal home with wife and designer Carol Beinfield. This kitchen features custom black cabinetry, custom-made hardware, and copper finishes. The open shelving allows for a display of cooking ingredients and personal touches. There is open seating at the island, Sub Zero Wolf appliances, including a Sub Zero wine refrigerator.

At the top of the stairs, a display of antique and contemporary copper pans adorn the grey wall. These pans bring out the copper accents in the Action Kitchen. The copper pots and pans are a combination of English and French antique, along with new copper pots from Jim Hamann Duparquet Copper Cookware. Copper was chosen to add warmth and to tie in with the copper riveting on the stove hoods. The grey wall was painted by Riptide Finishes. The color was chosen for its reminiscence of the muted hues of Nantucket’s natural land and sea scape, ocean-washed shingles and grey skies.

The kitchen cooking center done in Habersham cabinetry has side storage for frequently used oils, pull-out pantry style spice cabinets, and a 48" Stainless Steel Wolf range. The back splash has a carved stone medallion surrounded by beaded metal liners, stone rhomboid tiles, and arched liner, and natural stone complimenting color and style of the cabinetry nicely. I was sad that I was unable to use my expansive pot rack in the alloted space as it was too bulky. Dan promised me he would build me a compact one out of copper to match our handles and sink. He designed it and our teammember, Shannon, made it out of copper plumbing with no prior experience. I am proud of her!
