This closeup shows the three colors used for the Cornice. At the very top of the cornice is a teal color. The deeper color used for the stepped portions of the cornice is the same as the color in the eyebrow arches above the windows. The lighter color at the base is the paint color which matches the new windows. The result is an enhanced appreciation of the architectural details which crown the townhouse.

Inspiration for a transitional bedroom remodel in Louisville

A custom cut arched cornice fits inside the molding on the center window while the side cornices share a continuous pattern around the bay window. Motorized sheer horizontal shades provide privacy and let the light into this beautiful space.

This transitional living room boasts high ceilings and great windows that allow ample daylight. Arched cornices accentuate the height and frame the space, while wood shades offer another layer. A more traditional rug grounds the space and is a contrast to all the other elements in the room, giving an eclectic feel. Yummy ultrasuede sofas and a fun barrel chair provide plenty of seating within the space, all surrounding the cozy fireplace, clad in stone tile.

The second story game room in this coastal home features shades of tan, gray and black for a more masculine, well traveled look. The homeowner's love of tailored menswear inspired the choice of fabrics for the window treatments and recovered game chairs - a large paisley on the cornice with coordinating pinstripe drapes.

Asymmetry would be repeated with the proposed installation of a hand-cut Swarovski octagonal crystal fixture composed of three glittery globes suspended from a single canopy over the piano. A passionate project took shape. The owners of this boutique hotel and wanted an elegant and refined facade to fit with their vision of the entire concept. CoArtCo provided arm, arches and cornice. All items were produced to order, based on a draft provided by the architect. The project consisted of model sizes and quantities. With this information we could achieve prices and production time estimation.

Bedroom - traditional bedroom idea in Cincinnati

This bathroom space is a part of the Pennsylvania Room, an award-winning guest bedroom space at Anderson House in Washington, D.C. Replacing the previous valance, sheers and roller shade, are new Hunter Douglas Parkland wood blinds, and a reupholstered custom cornice, formerly in the bedroom space. The sink skirt was used to hide the pipes under the sink. The gold and cream wallpaper in a damask pattern overlaid on a stripe, make the marble of the bathroom appear whiter. The lighting fixtures, sink, and marble wainscoting and floor are all original to this historic house. Note the cutout at the bottom right of the tailored sink skirt, to get around the pipes and still hang straight. A contrast blue is used for welting at the hem of the cornice, and at the pleats of the sink skirt, and inset into the pleats. It also lines the shower curtain. Two French collector plates show the Marquis de Lafayette at City Tavern, Philadelphia, and at the Battle of Brandywine, as the bathroom continues to tell the story of Pennsylvania in the Revolutionary War.
