This dining room is from a custom home found in Toronto. The home was designed and built by Avvio Fine Homes and completed in 2018. It is open concept, combined with the living room, and adjoins the foyer and main hallway and stairs. Numerous windows provide an abundance of natural light, and its gas fireplace and quality carpentry and ceiling detail offer a refined and elegant setting.

Lighting was an important design element, and a lighting plan was created to illustrate the number and location of recessed lights as well as decorative lighting. A polished nickel six-arm chandelier with white fabric shades anchors the pedestal base round table which seats six.

This master retreat combines a dark wood coastal bed with rattan detailing and SW interesting aqua tray ceiling with new custom drapes and elegant pillows. The traverse drapes are lined with black out fabric for a restful sleep. he coordinating cornice has decorative trim along the bottom for a bit of fun!

Custom Drapery Designs, LLC - Custom, velvet cornice with nail head trim for a guest bathroom. The Greek Key trim and turquoise band provide graphic impact and create a "spa like" feel. Another bedroom in the same house was being used as my client's home office, just for her. She wanted a classic statement with with some curved elements to suit a ladies office. The embroidered scroll fabric and curved corners add those touches.

For this beautiful space the cornice was so large it had to be built on site. We worked in the garage building the box for the cornice then covering it with batting, fabric and welting, then it was then ready to be installed in the room. We had already made the drapes back at the work room and installed the rods and brackets. Once the draperies where to the rings the room was complete and looking beautiful.

A beautiful view is framed beautifully with a cornice overlaid with custom Tableaux grilles. A wide cornice hides vertical blind head rails.
