Brookhill Raised Panel is casual and comfortable in Oak finished in Wheat with a Burnt Sienna Glaze. This traditional design finds its rhythm in the repeating pattern of the corner Crossmate wine storage cubes with Chi mullion grids in upper wall cabinets. Strategically placed details, such as an apron sink base pulled forward and balanced by a pair of decorative fluted legs, along with Provincial valances on the toe kick, give this design the architectural interest traditionalists crave. Even the finest furniture makers would be envious of the rich Vineyard finish, open shelving and deluxe end treatment of the Cherry Park Place Reverse Raised Panel island.

What started as a full gut-to-studs renovation turned into a one-of-a-kind, personality-packed bathroom. The client craved color and drama, leading to a bold design anchored by a striking faux blue marble shower—instantly creating a luxe, high-impact focal point.
To balance the energy of the shower tile, a soft, textured wallpaper in a shimmering blue hue was added to the main walls, offering depth, elegance, and a calming contrast. The shimmer in the wallpaper catches the light beautifully and sets the tone for the rest of the space.
But the true showstopper? A fully custom-designed floating sink, sculpted specifically for this layout. What began as a functional necessity—maximizing counter space while preserving a clear walkway—evolved into a stunning design feature. With graceful curves and a sleek, transitional profile, the sink blends utility and artistry, proving that thoughtful design can elevate even the most practical elements.
This bathroom is now a perfect blend of boldness and balance, where every material and detail serves a purpose—and turns heads.

This fun kitchen is a perfect fit for its’ owners! As a returning client we knew this space would be a pleasure to complete, having previously updated their main bath. The variegated blue picket tiles add bold colour the homeowners craved, while the slab doors in a natural maple with matte black finishes and soft white quartz countertops offer a warm modern backdrop.
Filled with personality, this vibrant new kitchen inspires their love of cooking. The small footprint required creative planning to make the most efficient use of space while still including an open shelf section to allow for display and an open feel. The addition of a second sink was a game changer, allowing both sides of the room to function optimally. This kitchen was the perfect finishing touch for their home!

A duplex located across from Winter Park Ski Resort that still feels like it has that mountain rustic cabin feel that so many of our clients are craving.

We brought the essence of a Spanish-style resort right to this Rancho Santa Fe home. Our clients craved a luxurious, low-maintenance space with all the amenities of a high-end retreat, and we delivered. From the drought-tolerant plants and dry riverbed in the front yard to the spacious fire pit and panoramic views in the side yard, every corner exudes relaxation. And of course, a grand pool in the backyard, transforming the space into the ultimate personal retreat for the homeowners.

My effervescent client craved color for her beige retirement condo and wanted to incorporate her most cherished photos, nesting tables, a small collection of accessories and gifts from her family. Photography by Scott Bruck of Shadow Box Studios.

This hillside home in Piedmont, CA was remodeled to change the style from a 1940's rancher with eight foot ceilings and dark interiors, into a modern geometric composition with vast white interiors for casual living and generous daylighting for displaying the artist-owner's works.
In a city known for rigorous and difficult design review, an addition, two variances, and a full stylistic change were unanimously approved on the first round. All sloped roofs and attics were eliminated and replaced by a series of stacked and overlapping flat roofs. This made the house taller on the inside and shorter on the outside, which helped earn design review cooperation in the community. Windows were concentrated toward the rear yard views or moved up high on the side walls for daylight and privacy, benefitting the owners as well as the neighbors.
At the start, the owner husband was so enthusiastic and engaged in transforming his house into something modern that he presented the architect with a scaled foamcore model, rather than the usual magazine clippings and wish list. He participated in the design decisions throughout the process. The owner wife is the artist who did all the artwork in the house. She had been craving a display space with large walls and good natural light. Both of them loved the location and great views.
The project was an opportunity to transform the style of an older traditional home into a modern one, while solving numerous problems. By rebuilding the 1800 ft2 top of the 3-story home it was possible to change the style of the whole building, since the lower floors were a neutral base, and also to change the lifestyle of the owners, who wanted to move their master suite upstairs and live primarily on the top floor as empty nesters.
Going into the project, the architect knew there were multiple encroachments into the setbacks and potential privacy issues with close by neighbors. He approached this as a complex puzzle made up of architectural and political pieces which all had to fit together elegantly. It took many careful moves, small and large, to arrive at a serene and cohesive result that tied old and new together seamlessly.
The design-build contractor worked closely with the owners and handled all of the construction phase documents and design adjustments, adding ideas of their own to make the project really sing.
The project was a collaboration in three acts. The owner had a strong design concept from the start. The architect developed it into a realistic project and garnered the design approvals. Then the contractor executed brilliantly

Home away from home is where we often meet our clients, especially in Bend. They crave a welcoming and approachable, yet luxurious and well curated vacation home. This custom home in Central Oregon’s Caldera Springs neighborhood was no exception. An investment property the owners and their family will use occasionally, the home had to speak to their overall aesthetic, while graciously accommodating rental guests throughout the year. Design for each space was a collaboration with our clients, who selected “inspiration” fabrics and artwork that tell a story and bring warmth and personality to the home. We designed hard-wearing custom furniture, composed layers of luxe bedding, placed photography by local artist and photographer Chris Murray, and added comfortable and low maintenance furniture outside, where everyone wants to be year-round in Bend. Working with the property manager, we checked every item off a comprehensive list to outfit the chef’s kitchen and ensure guests would have all the comforts of home. This home is available for short-term vacation rental through Bennington Properties in Sunriver, OR.

This home remodel is a celebration of curves and light. Starting from humble beginnings as a basic builder ranch style house, the design challenge was maximizing natural light throughout and providing the unique contemporary style the client’s craved.
The Entry offers a spectacular first impression and sets the tone with a large skylight and an illuminated curved wall covered in a wavy pattern Porcelanosa tile.
The chic entertaining kitchen was designed to celebrate a public lifestyle and plenty of entertaining. Celebrating height with a robust amount of interior architectural details, this dynamic kitchen still gives one that cozy feeling of home sweet home. The large “L” shaped island accommodates 7 for seating. Large pendants over the kitchen table and sink provide additional task lighting and whimsy. The Dekton “puzzle” countertop connection was designed to aid the transition between the two color countertops and is one of the homeowner’s favorite details. The built-in bistro table provides additional seating and flows easily into the Living Room.
A curved wall in the Living Room showcases a contemporary linear fireplace and tv which is tucked away in a niche. Placing the fireplace and furniture arrangement at an angle allowed for more natural walkway areas that communicated with the exterior doors and the kitchen working areas.
The dining room’s open plan is perfect for small groups and expands easily for larger events. Raising the ceiling created visual interest and bringing the pop of teal from the Kitchen cabinets ties the space together. A built-in buffet provides ample storage and display.
The Sitting Room (also called the Piano room for its previous life as such) is adjacent to the Kitchen and allows for easy conversation between chef and guests. It captures the homeowner’s chic sense of style and joie de vivre.

A custom-sized Ernesta rug fills the living room in modern luxury. Inspired by classic menswear tweed, Maycomb is a wool blend flat weave that makes a statement with flecked yarn and a nubby texture. Dress it up or down in any room that craves some character.

These clients really enjoy their backyard space, with gardening and spending time with friends and family. They also practice yoga, and craved to have a space that could be their own personal yoga studio. The only problem they had in this space was a storage shed that wasn’t functional for them. With their wants and needs, the homeowners came to us because they wanted a functioning space to practice their love of yoga. This shed accomplishes that needs. We installed double hung Richlin Windows and a Marvin Integrity sliding patio door, all in a Bronze finish. Cedar corbels and beams, tongue and groove floor planks on their 3’ porch, a cedar trellis to replicate existing pergola, exposed trusses, cedar tongue and groove siding, and a stacked seam steel roof add to the charm of this shed. The finished space is a restful getaway in the city for the clients to meditate and leave their worries behind. Om!
