For a Buffalo-based family with a longstanding connection to Deer Valley, Eagle’s Nest marks a return to a place shaped by childhood winters beneath Bald Mountain. Now being created for the next generation, the home offers a setting for shared traditions, time outdoors, and seasons spent together.
The interiors take on a more masculine character, expressed through substantial materials, deeper tones, tailored detailing, and a restrained sense of warmth. The result is a home that feels grounded, personal, and quietly enduring, rooted in memory while designed for what comes next.

For clients seeking a dining table that serves as both a robust gathering surface and a sculptural statement, the Walnut White Resin Epoxy Table offers a powerful solution.
This piece masterfully balances the substantial warmth of natural wood with the sleek, luminous quality of modern resin.
Material Narrative: The live-edge walnut slab provides immediate organic texture, depth, and warmth, with each piece offering unique grain character.
Modern Accent: The integrated river of high-gloss white epoxy introduces a striking contemporary element. Its translucent, glossy finish adds a dynamic pop of color and reflects light, creating visual depth.
Functional Art: The design transforms a traditional surface into a conversation-starting centerpiece suitable for a range of styles, from rustic-modern to coastal contemporary.
Styling Recommendation: Pair with minimalist chairs in neutral tones (white, gray, black, or natural wood) to allow the table's drama to take center stage. Use ambient lighting to accentuate the epoxy's luminous quality.

ASID award winning kitchen with cypress wood cabinetry with carved in handles creating sculptural works of art where form fits function.
A stainless steel range sits beneath a substantial integrated hood, flanked by concealed storage and softly lit counter zones. The island sink and streamlined metal faucet support efficient prep, while glimpses of turquoise glass pendants add color overhead. Rich grain and sweeping stone-like movement give the kitchen a bold, tailored presence.

Shaker style cabinetry with a modern flair. Painted cabinetry with the warmth of stained quartersawn oak accents and stainless steel drawer fronts. Thick two toned butcher block on the island makes a great focal point and the built in seating nook is very cozy. We also created some custom details for the family pets like hidden gates at the doorway and comfortable beds with screened doors.

Understated Elegance for Historic Saratoga Home
Project Details
Designer: Ray Roberts
Cabinetry: Wood-Mode Framed Cabinetry
Wood: Perimeter – Maple; Island – Quarter Sawn Oak
Finishes: Perimeter – Nordic White; Island – Nut Brown
Door: Perimeter – Regent Recessed Inset; Island – Alexandria Recessed Inset
Countertop: Perimeter – Soapstone; Island – Calacatta Marble
Perhaps one of my favorite projects of the year, this historic home on Broadway in Saratoga Springs deserved the finest of kitchens. And that it always fun to design. The real challenge here was to capture an understated elegance worthy of the history of the home, the street, the town itself. This particular refinement meant having the sum of the parts be greater than the whole…meticulous focus on every detail to create something grand but livable, historically appropriate but adapted for today’s modern family, luxe but quietly graceful. Some of the details include a beautifully detailed wooden hood, a rolling ladder to access the double stacked upper cabinets which feature antiqued mirror inserts, a substantial, grounding quarter sawn oak island in a contrasting nut brown finish as well as historically appropriate hardware contrasted with modern fixtures and lighting.

In this kitchen up in Desert Mountain, we provided all of the cabinetry, countertops and backsplash to create the Mid Century Modern style for our clients remodel. The transformation is substantial compared to the size and layout it was before, making it more linear and doubling in size.
For the perimeter we have white skinny shaker cabinetry with pops of Hickory wood to add some warmth and a seamless countertop backsplash. The island features painted black cabinetry with the skinny shaker style for some contrast and is over 14' long with enough seating for 8 people. In the fireplace bar area, we have also the black cabinetry with a fun pop of color for the backsplash tile along with honed black granite countertops. The selection choices of painted cabinetry, wood tones, gold metals, concrete flooring and furniture selections carry the style throughout and brings in great texture, contrast and warmth.

This well-proportioned two-story design offers simplistic beauty and functionality. Living, kitchen, and porch spaces flow into each other, offering an easily livable main floor. The master suite is also located on this level. Two additional bedroom suites and a bunk room can be found on the upper level. A guest suite is situated separately, above the garage, providing a bit more privacy.

This New England home has the essence of a traditional home, yet offers a modern appeal. The home renovation and addition involved moving the kitchen to the addition, leaving the resulting space to become a formal dining and living area.
The extension over the garage created an expansive open space on the first floor. The large, cleverly designed space seamlessly integrates the kitchen, a family room, and an eating area.
A substantial center island made of soapstone slabs has ample space to accommodate prepping for dinner on one side, and the kids doing their homework on the other. The pull-out drawers at the end contain extra refrigerator and freezer space. Additionally, the glass backsplash tile offers a refreshing luminescence to the area. A custom designed informal dining table fills the space adjacent to the center island.
Paint colors in keeping with the overall color scheme were given to the children. Their resulting artwork sits above the family computers. Chalkboard paint covers the wall opposite the kitchen area creating a drawing wall for the kids. Around the corner from this, a reclaimed door from the grandmother's home hangs in the opening to the pantry. Details such as these provide a sense of family and history to the central hub of the home.
