For years I contemplated a kitchen renovation in my home of 26 years and interviewed a multitude of architects and kitchen designers, but always came away feeling somewhat overwhelmed by the process, the multitude of options and costs. We needed to re-configure the space which involved removing a wall and relocating 6 different plumbing lines, some dating back to 1913. After one meeting in my home with Columbia Cabinet's design staff, I was finally ease and enthusiastic about finally getting the project underway. During our hour and half first meeting, I shared my style and layout preferences. In less than two weeks we met again and we reviewed their plans and renderings and selected details and finishes. After one go at the design, they had captured my vision for our dream kitchen. I cannot say enough positive about Columbia Cabinets and their extraordinary contractors, North County Contractors. Everyone involved in both the design and installation was truly outstanding!

Great experience with Columbia cabinets! Sarah was a huge help to us as we'd never done any major renovation project before. She walked us through the whole process and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. She always responded very quickly to our questions and when there were a couple small issues after installation she had the replacements sent out immediately.

My husband and I are enjoying the beautiful and efficient kitchen renovation Amy Van Wie designed for us. All through the process she was amazing to work with. She was patient and encouraging devoting immense amounts of time and enthusiasm to every phase of the development even though I plagued her with indecision and ever-evolving ideas. She directed us into making decisions of which we could not be happier. We “love” the fine cabinetry Columbia Cabinets offered and appreciated her going with us to pick out just about everything a kitchen needs. She backed my husband’s vision of a small bump out when most thought it not feasible. I cannot tell you how much we both now enjoy the added space, brightness, and the access to our back deck from the kitchen. Amy also secured for us a superior contractor in Gary Fuller. A perfectionist and artistic in his work, we found him to be invaluable. We were struck by his pleasant personality, professionalism, and strong work ethic, and he got the job done in reasonable time. We could not have asked for a better team in Amy and Gary. We have gotten so very many compliments. We hope to use them both again.

My husband and I decided to do major kitchen renovations on a whim. We contacted Sarah McDonald for her advice on a kitchen design. We had some of our own thoughts on how to design the kitchen, but then Sarah took measurements listened to our thoughts and came back with a design that looked like what we see on Dyi TV. We never invisioned our kitchen could look so amazing. Sarah’s design was beautiful and more functional than we could ever come up with ourselves. Sarah helped us every step of the way from deciding on colors to tile design with no pressure on desisions. She listened to us when we said we had a budget and did research on pricing for tiles and counter tops. Sarah is not only an amazing designer and professional but her personality makes working with her not only easy but fun as well.
