Main Line Kitchen Design is a brand new business model! We are a group of skilled Kitchen Designers each with many years of experience planning kitchens around the Delaware Valley. And we are cabinet dealers for 6 nationally distributed cabinet lines like traditional showrooms. At Main Line Kitchen Design instead of a full showroom we use a small office and selection center, and 100’s of sample doorstyles, finish and sample kitchen cabinets, as well as photo design books and CAD on laptops to display your kitchen. This way we eliminate the need and the cost associated with a showroom business model. This makes the design process more convenient for our customers, and we pass the significant savings on to them as well.
We believe that since a web site like Houzz.com has over half a million kitchen photos any advantage to going to a full kitchen showroom with full kitchen displays has been lost. Almost no customer today will ever get to see a display kitchen in their door style and finish there are just too many possibilities. And of course the design of each kitchen is unique anyway.

A new bench seat and desk area bring function into this teens bedroom. Storage was incorporated in the bench along with an open space for display. A variety of fabrics were grouped together to create a seamless tackable panel behind the computer for photos and memorabilia. Photo Credit: Miro Dvorscak

This is the impromptu jewelry wall that started it all - now I install some wall jewelry display for every female client.
Not only are the necklaces accessible and visible, one per nail (or hook) keeps the chains and cords tangle-free.

Napa, CA residence. I designed a triangular-shaped pergola with decorative panels from "Parasoleil" that serves as an artful focal point while providing interesting shade patterns that casts its delightful shadows along fence and patio and bench below, changing its position as the sun moves throughout the day. My design solutions included a contemporary redwood horizontal fence to help screen the view of the hillside along with arbors for vines that help to break up the long narrow space. The landscape design includes angular planting beds, concrete pavers surrounded by gravel and a small lower-water lawn for the family to enjoy. The photos show the just planted low-water plants, vines and olive trees and again after a couple of months. Drawings, Design and Photos © Eileen Kelly, Dig Your Garden Landscape Design

A striking blend of stone, steel and wood elements combine in this refreshingly contemporary wine cellar. The light natural palette is reflected in the Douglas fir blocks for the focal piece, our VINIUM wine racking system. The inclusion of wine pegs against rustic tile accent walls, allowing for full label view, gives the displayed bottles a floating effect. Finished with a barrel ceiling of reclaimed cooperage, it is a warm and unique retreat.

Hanging family photos can be an artful display using a variety of frame sizes and adding circles to break up the rectangles. Yes I painted the thermostat black!

Furthering her plan to enhance the room's architecture, Suzanne turned one corner of the kitchen into a cheery dining area with an L-shaped built-in bench that mimics the cabinetry. To keep the dining nook cozy (not restaurant-like) she surrounded the metal bistro table with slipcovered armchairs and hung a sparkly chandelier above.
Using the same patterned fabric on the window valances and pillows throughout (Montmartre in Clay/Blue from her own collection for Lee Jofa; leejofa.com), Suzanne introduced color and life to the kitchen without taking away from the all-white effect. Photo by Erica George Dines for Southern Living

We turned a small unused room in the back of this house into a playroom for young children. Highlights include custom photo wallpaper (which is adhesive backed and can be peeled away without wall damage), a custom book wall and a wall system allowing easy rotation of kids' art.
