When they first purchased the home, the owners didn't think they'd need to renovate. But with two growing girls, they eventually realized that the house didn't fully suit their needs. While cooking, they couldn't keep an eye on the children as they played in the living room on the other side of the house. We designed a 325 sf addition that expanded the kitchen and added a family room and powder room. Renovations were also made to the adjacent mudroom including plenty of built-in storage.

This gorgeous lake home sits right on the water's edge. It features a harmonious blend of rustic and and modern elements, including a rough-sawn pine floor, gray stained cabinetry, and accents of shiplap and tongue and groove throughout.

This playroom is a wonderland for the kids, but also has potential to be an elegant space later on. The elaborate arches offer a unique design to necessary support columns. A white board/chalk board/cork board is a great place for arts and crafts, while floor to ceiling built-in closets provide storage and display space. Mid Century French commode has been painted with a tinted primer and layers of custom chalk paint to achieve a time worn appearance. The dresser is made out of oak with no veneers. French blue with a cream layer underneath has been distressed to give it an aged finish. Sealed with a flat acrylic sealant for durability. To clean, just use a damp cloth. Has original hardware.
