Project involved total demo of a condo in Boca and redesigning the space to an open look for entertaining. Wood laminate flooring adds warmth and durability without fear of warping. Ceiling customized with stepping outlines the spaces and provides for lighting where concrete ceilings would not allow lighting. Woven custom shades and sheer panels create a light air look to the space with views out to the intercoastal. Kitchen is all white, counter top for island is Calacutta white, back splash is white glass installed as three horizontal continuous rows. All doors are customized in espresso wood finish and opague glass centers. Master Bedroom wall is expanded by sliding wood and Lumicor panels of reeds to create a beautiful back drop to the bed. San Antonio Spanish colonial dining room. Mesquite wood which is Indiginous to southern Texas was mixed with limestone tiles in the floor and the rustic beams in the ceiling mirror the design of each other. A quadrafoil pattern is hand painted on the ceiling between the beams and follows the chandelier canopy in the center. Rich red walls create a warm dining setting . We like to mix light and dark furnishings to add interest and accent as you can see from the display cabinets in the right alcove. Inspiration for a cottage yellow two-story gable roof remodel in Miami

Their family expanded, and so did their home! After nearly 30 years residing in the same home they raised their children, this wonderful couple made the decision to tear down the walls and create one great open kitchen family room and dining space, partially expanding 10 feet out into their backyard. The result: a beautiful open concept space geared towards family gatherings and entertaining. I was hired by the parents of a soon-to-be teenage girl turning 13 years-old. They wanted to remodel her bedroom from a young girls room to a teenage room. This project was a joy and a dream to work on! I got the opportunity to channel my inner child. I wanted to design a space that she would love to sleep in, entertain, hangout, do homework, and lounge in. The first step was to interview her so that she would feel like she was a part of the process and the decision making. I asked her what was her favorite color, what was her favorite print, her favorite hobbies, if there was anything in her room she wanted to keep, and her style. The second step was to go shopping with her and once that process started she was thrilled. One of the challenges for me was making sure I was able to give her everything she wanted. The other challenge was incorporating her favorite pattern-- zebra print. I decided to bring it into the room in small accent pieces where it was previously the dominant pattern throughout her room. The color palette went from light pink to her favorite color teal with pops of fuchsia. I wanted to make the ceiling a part of the design so I painted it a deep teal and added a beautiful teal glass and crystal chandelier to highlight it. Young teenage girl wanted a glamorous bedroom but also needed storage. Blue walls dramatically feature the white satin vinyl upholstered bed (washable) and white cabinetry. all her favorite colors are in her room, Teal, Lime, amethyst and coordinated with light gray for bedding. Note the crystal drops on the chest drawer pulls, a little feminine custom touch to the chest that can be removed anytime.
