From the kitchen level an additional group of stairs flow down to the paver patio surrounding the pool. Also incorporated is a downstairs entry and ample space for storage beneath the deck sourced through an access panel. Franklin Lakes NJ. Outdoor Great room with covered structure. A granite topped wet bar under the tv on the mahogany paneled wall. This fantastic room with a tigerwood cieling and Ipe columns has two built in heaters in the cieling to take the chill off while watching football on a crisp fall afternoon or dining at night. In the first picture you can see the gas fire feature built into the round circular bluestone area of the deck. A perfect gathering place under the stars. This is so much more than a deck it is year round outdoor living.

This custom designed, multi-level deck in Madison, NJ has every element needed for one to never want to come indoors. The upper deck incorporates a large dining and lounge area with a stacked stone kitchen. To the left is an inviting sunken hot tub and to the right is a step down to the amazing blue stone inlay lower deck with a unique fire feature. This amazing deck, covered structure and paver patio transformed this Sparta, NJ yard. The rich warm color of the tiger wood ceiling flows seamlessly with the custom ipe columns with stacked stone bases, capped with blue stone. The WOLF PVC decking in rose wood and amber wood and custom aluminum railing not only adds charm, but has the added benefit of being low maintenance. The addition of a custom ceiling fan, as well as heating units, allows these homeowners to enjoy this “room” virtually year round.
Stepping down to the lower deck, you find the inviting hot tub, a lounging area for enjoying the sun and custom stacked stone planter boxes finished with blue stone, ready to explode with colors each season.

This project was a large wrap-around second story deck that we remodeled in Rockingham, Virginia. We connected the two existing decks to make one large deck that wrapped around the house. The new deck was redesigned a little, and we used Timbertec decking and vinyl railing.


This expansive well appointed deck in Short Hills NJ has a lot of room to spread out and entertain with its built in benches and custom granite topped cocktail tables and designated grilling area. The deck leads down to a new patio with retaining walls. The rails are Timbertech Radiance and the decking is Azek. What you don't see.. This project has a complete water remediation system built under the deck and behind patio retaining walls that directs water away from the houses foundation. This project required a unique design to fit within the building envelope of this property while maximizing living space on and under this unusually high deck. This curved deck answered the challenge while creating a one of a kind space, connecting the second story indoor area to relaxed seating convenient to the kitchen and the lower living area to a completely protected space under the deck. The rounded design and detailed trim work add character to every perspective. Illuminated for evening entertainment the party continues after dark. A grand staircase descends to the paver patio area below. The landing at the base of the staircase adds scale while smoothing flow whether heading to the swings or to the patio. At the far end of the patio a fire feature flanked by two arched benches provides for a reflective moment or relaxed conversation amid the warm ambiance of the fire. Substructure is ACQ pine with all Zmax hardware on 12” & 16” X 42’’ deep footings. Average live load exceeds 80# per sq ft. Framing lumber is blacked out for better aesthetics.
