Inspiration for a contemporary bathroom remodel in Miami

When we started this project there were 3 lights, red carpet, and fake panel doors where the built-in bookcases are now. This home is an old historic home so it was important to update the space for their kids and guests to come and stay as well as try to make the space appear bigger then it actually was. I went with whitewashed flooring, beautiful tables that were distressed with a white & grey finish. Kept the colors neutral but added a pop of blue. We built the bookshelves so that they could have storage for games and art, the sofa also serves as a sleeper. The desk with mirror above help reflect the light and also allow them to work down there. Client was so thrilled!!

This family room is ready for indoor/outdoor entertaining! We recovered two comfy club chairs in a neutral windowpane fabric, added colorful pillows and a few interesting objects to make this the perfect spot for family movie night or hanging out with friends. Our client asked us to turn this spare bedroom into a functional, sophisticated study. We wanted to incorporate our client's existing furniture, so we focused on finding the rest of the furnishings in a deep, espresso-colored wood. Once we had the larger pieces all set and ready to go, we worked in the new artwork, window treatments, accessories, and decor - which all beautifully contrasted against the darker wood and added some major character! Project: Palazzo Margherita Bernalda Restoration Elements used: Encaustic Tiles, Antique Limestone, antique stone fountain, antique stone fireplace. Discover the cuisine, wines and history of the Basilicata region at the luxurious Palazzo Margherita. Set in the village of Bernalda, the well-preserved villa is close to the region’s white-sand beaches and the famed Sassi caves. The property was recently renovated by the Coppola family with decorator Jacques Grange, imbuing its luxurious traditional interiors with modern style. Start each day of your stay with an included breakfast, then head out to read in the courtyard garden, lounge under an umbrella on the terrace by the pool or sip a mimosa at the al-fresco bar. Have dinner at one of the outdoor tables, then finish the evening in the media room. The property also has its own restaurant and bar, which are open to the public but separate from the house. Traditional architecture, lush gardens and a few modern furnishings give the villa the feel of a grand old estate brought back to life. In the media room, a vaulted ceiling with ornate moldings speaks to the home’s past, while striped wallpaper in neutral tones is a subtly contemporary touch. The eat-in kitchen has a dramatically arched Kronos stone ceiling and a long, welcoming table with bistro-style chairs. The nine suite-style bedrooms are each decorated with their own scheme and each have en-suite bathrooms, creating private retreats within the palazzo. There are three bedrooms with queen beds on the garden level; all three have garden access and one has a sitting area. Upstairs, there are six bedrooms with king beds, all of which have access to either a Juliet balcony, private balcony or furnished terrace. Inspiration for a mid-sized rustic back porch remodel in Atlanta with a fire pit, decking and a roof extension

This 1902 San Antonio home was beautiful both inside and out, except for the kitchen, which was dark and dated. The original kitchen layout consisted of a breakfast room and a small kitchen separated by a wall. There was also a very small screened in porch off of the kitchen. The homeowners dreamed of a light and bright new kitchen and that would accommodate a 48" gas range, built in refrigerator, an island and a walk in pantry. At first, it seemed almost impossible, but with a little imagination, we were able to give them every item on their wish list. We took down the wall separating the breakfast and kitchen areas, recessed the new Subzero refrigerator under the stairs, and turned the tiny screened porch into a walk in pantry with a gorgeous blue and white tile floor. The french doors in the breakfast area were replaced with a single transom door to mirror the door to the pantry. The new transoms make quite a statement on either side of the 48" Wolf range set against a marble tile wall. A lovely banquette area was created where the old breakfast table once was and is now graced by a lovely beaded chandelier. Pillows in shades of blue and white and a custom walnut table complete the cozy nook. The soapstone island with a walnut butcher block seating area adds warmth and character to the space. The navy barstools with chrome nailhead trim echo the design of the transoms and repeat the navy and chrome detailing on the custom range hood. A 42" Shaws farmhouse sink completes the kitchen work triangle. Off of the kitchen, the small hallway to the dining room got a facelift, as well. We added a decorative china cabinet and mirrored doors to the homeowner's storage closet to provide light and character to the passageway. After the project was completed, the homeowners told us that "this kitchen was the one that our historic house was always meant to have." There is no greater reward for what we do than that.

Incorporating color to complement the existing architectural elements was key as well as adding fresh planters for clients overall well being with family . Clients request to create an oasis that feels like her family on vacation in California with an elegant and timeless feel yet comfortable and inviting .

The formal living space can be very versatile. We love the sophistication and playfulness of the space including our statement ottomans for additional seating.
