We had the awesome opportunity to complete this 8ft Western Red Cedar board-on-board privacy fence that included metal gate frames with industrial hinges and 2x6 single stage trim cap. We used exterior rated GRK screws for 100% of the installation, not a single nail on the entire project. The project also included demolition and removal of a failed retaining wall followed by the form up and pouring of a new 24” tall concrete retaining wall. This picture shows the excavation for the wall base. A proper foundation is important! We will not touch a project that does not allow for proper construction techniques ... no one wants to come back to a failed retaining wall!

This fence's paint was failing and peeling from sun exposure over the years. To fix this, the fence was pressure washed, scraped, and sanded extensively before two coats of Shark Skin Solid Hide Stain were applied.

BEFORE: The staging phase of our latest custom fence replacement in Bentonville, AR. The old, weathered pine fence has reached the end of its lifespan, sagging and failing to provide proper privacy along the sidewalk. We have just staged the site with heavy-duty framing materials and concrete to set a rock-solid foundation. We are tearing down this eyesore and replacing it with a highly durable, premium cedar privacy fence.

The fence was stained dark brown making foliage and flowers pop. Dwarf Southern Magnolias will provide additional screening from a neighboring residence where failing trees were removed. A perennial border provides an abundance color throughout summer and early fall.
