We wanted to create a comfortable and tranquil retreat in this sunroom, a place where my clients could lounge and escape the world. We used oversized chaises, a soft color story, and interesting textures to accomplish this relaxed aesthetic. We layered warm, sandy creams and soft grays to create a casual, monochromatic palette that lends itself to a more subdued eclectic vibe and a truly relaxed atmosphere. We also made sure to incorporate a whole jungle worth of plants! Plants are the best way to bring life into your home. Not only do plants beautify your space, but they also have some pretty wonderful health benefits! They detoxify your home by improving indoor air quality. They are also known to boost your mood & lift your spirit!

This is an organic Lime Wash done with a true lime wash product as opposed to a brick mortar or concrete that is often seen on new houses. This product can be applied as a solid coating making the surface completely white, or can be applied and "washed off" in many artistic ways, as seen here. If you hate your brick or just want something unique this is a great option! Photo credit: Jeff Murrey

This project is entitled 'Bringing Nature Home'; Where the Coyotes Run. While initially meeting with the client on a sunny afternoon a coyote ran across the lawn. This indicated good fortune was waiting. From a Feng Shui perspective...powerful, positive energy. An excerpt from the design concept is...Flowering ornamental grasses colorful perennials with large boulders will accent your new, native plant garden.

Mullum Sari is proud to offer an indulgent experience and the opportunity to feel special. It is for that reason that we take such care in the styling and finish of our estate. Our Hindu-inspired 'Manse' rooms are clean, warm and uncluttered, making them the perfect place to enjoy moments of reflection. For those who desire a change of gear, our holistic gym is furnished with the latest training equipment and offers clients a boutique style setting in which to work on their fitness. Modern technologies have also been employed in our spa. The infra red sauna delivers all the benefits associated with a traditional sauna at a significantly lower temperature – detoxifying without having to endure uncomfortable heat. Surrounding the health retreat are our well kept grounds where visitors can wander freely and add to their growing sense of calm. Health and wellbeing isn’t all serious, though. In fact, we encourage our clients to treat their stay as the opportunity to explore a "4,000-hectare playground", where they can have fun and truly feel themselves.
