Request Free QuoteThe grade change is transitioned with a series of masonry steps that were designed to mimic the nearby waterfalls. Sedums, Hostas, and Sedges were designed to soften the hard edges of the treads and thus harmonizing the space.

We use natural stone for our steps whenever we can. Some of the most common types are limestone, granite, and sandstone. They stand up to the elements and do not move or come apart like a manufactured step that is glued. All of our steps are guillotine cut. This gives them a nice clean natural finish. Perfect for navigating hillsides.

We designed the driveway to have precast concrete pavers with a wet cast paver edging. A granite curb laid level with pavers for additional strength. The entire driveway is not heated for winter. New bluestone step treads are added and narrow grooves are cut underneath so we could also heat the steps and landings. New bluestone wall caps are added as well as LED wall lights, steps lights and under the wall caps. A new handrail was also added for safety and ease.
